The only thing that reduced my score was my experience in the shuttles to and from airport back to Hanoi. I’d review the business directly if I could but I don’t have that info as it was all booked directly by the hotel. It was just very unorganised, not enough information received or trying to give me short notice to pick up earlier and when I said I might not make it tried to push my time out which was frustrating. While I know it’s not directly the hotel, however they partner with them. My advice would be to ask for information if lacking (eg from airport name of driver, car, license plate rather than someone will collect you, as a solo female traveller this information is important) when the transfer company message directly to arrange after booked. Also didn’t love there was no shower screen so felt like I was in a corner to avoid getting water everywhere. But it’s fine.

The location was good. The family who run it couldn’t do enough to help. Clean rooms. Breakfast was basic but sufficient.

Our stay at Annamoi Homestay was the best accommodation experience we had during our travels in Vietnam, and much of that was thanks to Pinkie and her entire family. After just a few days, we felt at home, cared for with genuine love. We still think fondly of that wonderful family. We were especially grateful for their support when a tropical storm arrived — Pinkie kindly allowed us to extend our stay from 4 to 8 nights so we could remain safe. Throughout our time there, we enjoyed comfortable accommodation, truly excellent and generous breakfasts, and a lovely pool. We rented bicycles (with a child seat) from Pinkie and took many beautiful trips around the area. The reception also has a small bar with drinks at very reasonable prices, and there’s an excellent restaurant nearby. It’s just a short distance to the center of Tam Coc. If we ever return to Vietnam, we will absolutely come back to Annamoi without hesitation.

They are all so nice! Everytime and everything you all them they help you. Breakfast is great, you choose the day prior. The time was twice as big that I expected You can rent bike and motorbike there no problem. At the end of the last day, they even let us take a shower, saved our stuff and even have us water and fruit for the trip!

Everything was perfect! The hotel is a very nice family hotel. The staff is super helpful and kind. Our room was very spacious, nice and clean with both AC and a fan. Breakfast is very nice, served by the pool. They offer different services such as transfers, bikes, motorbikes at good prices. We rented a motorbike from them and it was real fun. The property is a few minutes away from the center. There was a situation by our fault, and we needed urgent help on the road in the late hours of the night when everything was closed. So we contacted the property owner and she was more than eager to help us right away. That's the warmth and kindness you get in Viet Nam. We had to leave the hotel very early in the morning before breakfast is served but Pinkie was so kind to be there, and prepare us some food to go. This is the kind of family-like and caring attitude we didn't get anywhere else. Thank you so much. Highly recommended!

There is not much free space on the patio so motorbikes are parked everywhere up to the tables and the pool

Renovated and well-kept structure, in a good place to stay in Tam Coc. The family takes care of you and does everything to help and make you feel comfortable. The pool is nice, for breakfast there is no buffet but the possibility to choose between some dishes. They can rent scooters or bikes at a reasonable price. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended!

This place is great. The staff are lovely and they can help you arrange anything you need. We hired bicycles for the day and explored. The place itself is very nice, and the rooms were great. Breakfast was lovely and the pool was nicely refreshing after a hot day exploring.

Pinkie ist the best receptionist, very open minded and we loved talking with her. She is taking care of really everything you need, to have a nice and good stay She also helps with bus travel to your next destination and gives good recommendations. We felt so welcome, the whole family took care of us! We would recommend it anyone who is looking for a cheap, nice place and even nicer people to meet. We are very thankful to meet the people here and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay with Pinkie and the family! They were all very friendly and went over and above to help us with whatever we needed and make us feel welcome. The rooms were very modern and clean and had everything you would need during your stay. The homestay is within walking distance to everything in Tam Coc and the hostel also provides a bike rental service. The BEST homestay I have ever stayed!

Staying at this family-run homestay in Tam Coc was one the best experience we had during our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and cared for. We were offered an early check-in for free, which was such a gift after a long journey. The family is incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. It felt like being at home. They helped us with everything: recommending the best local restaurants, and even dropping me off by scooter at the bus station late in the evening. The location is ideal, very central and within walking distance to everything you need. Our room was spotless and cozy. Breakfast each morning was homemade with love, and always delicious. We borrowed bikes from the homestay for two days and explored the area. I highly recommend doing this, it’s such a great way to discover the beauty of Ninh Binh at your own pace. After long rides in the heat, the swimming pool was just perfect to cool down and relax. The whole stay felt easy, warm, and full of lovely moments. The family that owns the homestay is super friendly and flexible. We overslept the breakfast time and they went out the way to make us breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable with good functioning airconditioning. Overall great stay would 100% recommend.
