The spacing of the electrical plugs were inconvenient.The two bedside lamps did not have electric connection and there isnt a convenient plug available close to a mirror for when one wants to blowdry hair.Plug where Wifi router is, was overloaded.

Visible security measures were not obvious besides a few cctv camera's on the main access road and electric fencing for the surrounding properties and fields. The automated gate at the main road didn't seem to work and we never found it to be closed (confirmed by an employee). With this in mind, no burglar proofing on the windows and no local knowledge, we did not feel secure enough to leave the windows open at night which is not ideal. Pool needed a service on arrival, keys left in an open door, garden furniture chairs haphazardly placed on the lawn. No instructions to open the glass patio doors but very easy once shown demonstrated by cleaning staff (one appears not to lock which was confirmed by a staff member) and added to our security concerns. In hind sight its a bit big for a family of 4 TV is too small for the lounge and badly positioned at ceiling height if you intend using it

Location (if you don't want to be in central Stellenbosch) Splash pool Strawberry picking nearby. Easy drive into Kuils Rivier which we needed for an event Blocked drain was attended to timeously

We were there in winter and it was brutally cold with not a single heater. Only a small bag if wood for the fireplace but feel the chimney was blocked as lots of smoke came out but not a lot if warmth so we all had to retire at 9pm to get warm. Disappointing as its a beautiful property

Although entry instructions were communicated via WhatsApp, there was no response to a question I asked. This caused a bit of anxiety, but the answer to the question was clear on arrival. Some of the utensils and kitchen equipment were not 100% clean, but there was plenty of hot water and more than enough dishwashing liquid, so we could wash these ourselves.

Beautiful location. The house has everything you need and really feels like a home. The front of the house has large glass sliding doors that open fully. It felt like being outside, while still inside and the view is lovely. Very spacious and private. Loads of bird life.

The front room become very hot even with the shades pulled down. This forced us to use the bedroom as the main meeting area. As we were discussing business mostly, this was not ideal. On a cooler day this would not have been problematic though.

Privacy and self-accessibility. We were able to come in and depart without having to make any special arrangements to meet hosts when our arrival time was not standard.

The information of what was available at the property. Just a pamphlet of how to go around, and available activities close by.

The location was excellent. Everything was available in the house, utensils, bedding etc. Privacy was tops.

WIFI in the rooms was not adequate, very slow but the host kindly allowed us to sit at the Venue to work, which was so much better. Solar Geyser so water not that hot if you are showering at night or early morning, even in 36 deg weather, not sure what they do in winter on rainy and overcast days. Options of a delivery of a breakfast basket and braai pack would be an added bonus. The brown outdated furniture in the indoor braai area.

Situated approx 15 mins (not during loadshedding) from the centre of Stellenbosch. Beautiful views, pretty surroundings, Generator was a win. Swimming Pool was great to cool off on a hot day.

There is no air conditioning so it was a bit warm. However, there were a number of fans in the house so that helped, and when all windows and the stacking doors were open, it wasn’t a problem.

Beautiful view from the house! The open plan kitchen, dining and patio area with glass stacking doors to the lawn, braai and pool outside, are all perfect for entertaining and group get-togethers. Modern, clean, spacious. The room with 2 single beds actually has 2 extra mattresses under the bed too, so great for bigger groups. Highly recommend.

I didnt like that fact that we had to call the host everytime we needed to enter the gate because it was locked.There was no code given to us, which would have made our lives so much easier since we had to uber a few times and had to keep on calling for the host to unlock the gate

The place is beautiful and the facilities are great especially the villa.There is everything you could possibly need,a well thought out space that is very functional.

Being locked out of the gate and therefore venue for a day due to a lack response of provided contact details for a new gate code. Multiple messages and calls from didn't numbers and no response. Had to eventually walk around fence to get into property and found a relative of manager to make contact for a code.

A towel hook at the shower will be nice, but not a deal breaker. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. Would definitely love to visit in Summer.

Units are spacious and very tastefully decorated. Loved the inside braai/entertainment of the Villa which is perfect for the Cape Town Winter weather. Would love to visit in Summer so that we can open the stacker doors and appreciate the beautiful view.

The pics are misrepresented .it looks all soft and pastels and it is painted a very dark grey . Windows are high so from bed you feel like you in a dark box

I felt nervous and you drive through huge electric fencing on each side of the road and it stops before the cottages . They tell you to deactivate the alarm but there is none !a big sign at the door

The kitchen is well equipped for two people, but one or two extra mugs or plates would not hurt.

Beautifully located in the vineyards. The cottage is gorgeous with a clever design and well equipped kitchen. 401 Rozendal is conveniently located close to Stellenbosch, but far enough to get away from the hustle and bustle of student life.
