We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Location was good. Easy access to the N2 as well as to the nearest town Knysna and surrounding forests etc. Very safe , and beautifull.Place is in a good condition.Staff very helpfull and kind

Not much.. was hoping the jacuzzi would be operational, but this wasn't a massive issue. Would've also been nic if the restaurant was open during this busy oyster festival period. But also not a major issue.
Location- close enough to knysna but dar enough from the hustle and bustle of the small town during festival time. Brenton on Sea is a very underrated part of knysna. Facilities- the resort is very clean amd well kept. The kids enjoyed the games room and getting to watch the rugby in the restaurant area, which the admin assistant kindly arranged despite the restaurant being closed. Management- Louis was a very friendly and accommodating host and made some very helping exceptions.

Maintenance on couch and blocked shower drain need some attention.

The tv reception was bad but that didn't bother us too much as we didn't come to watch tv.
Everything was clean and well looked after. It's just outside Knysna central which was nice because it was nice and quiet in the evenings.

Adjacent rooms were perfect for two families traveling together. Kids loved the playground, pool, and games, though there was extra cost for some activities.

We missed having coffee making facilities in the chalets. Even just a french press would be great.
Beautiful area and just a short drive from Knysna. Great balcony/veranda for a nice braai.

There is nothing not to like. I would suggest that the establishments has a look at providing washing lines on the sides of the units - this will assist with hanging up wet towels and swimwear to dry.
Everything - especially the little things like a full fridge and freezer, a proper sized hairdryer, water in the fridge, enough crockery and utensils, enough bedding. Everything was clean. A cleaning service is provided daily. Another small but welcomed service is that your braai grill gets cleaned every morning.

If anything and that's because I am spoiled, an aircon 😉
Staff and venue were amazing, very clean. Everyday we would come home to a unit with freshly made beds and a clean place. Lots of fun games and swimming to keep you busy

We were looking forward to spending time in the jacuzzi but it had been taken out during our stay.

Cabin we were given was right near a sporting kids group so was very noisy till late at night and very early in the morning. Did ask to move but didn't happen.
Cabin itself was nice. Bed was comfortable.

Bed was a bit soft for my liking. Chalets are a quite small which is fine for a short stay but might be a bit of a squeeze for longer.
Nice pool, Very friendly staff. Nice quiet area, easy access from the N2. Daily housekeeping included.

When I checked off the sheet I was wearing was having a black spots which one could notice that they were previous washed and they wanted to claim that it's from me I should pay.
