Nothing to really complain about, was perfect for what we wanted.

Glen Afric provided a very family friendly location for complete immersion on a game reserve, we had giraffes/elephants/ zebras calmly walking around the property. Definitely would recommend. Note: Elephant feeding is only on Sunday lunchtime.

Charming and interesting location. Traditional but well maintained hotel, huge restaurant with lovely views to a duck pond and garden below, then out to a marvellous vista leading to nearby hills. Zebras and Giraffes came good and close to the property fence at times. Staff friendly and helpful, especially our guide Nadia and the bubbly young lady serving dinner then breakfast on 8 and 9 November respectively. Nadia also took us to the "Wild At Heart" house set, which we loved. Interesting and fun game drive, seeing nearby elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs and (in enclosures) lions, cheetahs, leopards and (pet rescue) tigers.

The service at the restaurant for our dinner was a tad sluggish took long to serve us and did not check up on us if we wanted to order additional drinks ect.

The staff went above and beyond, being exceptionally helpful in guiding us to our room. They made our anniversary truly memorable by adding a special touch, with no additional charges. They adorned the bed with delicate flower petals and skillfully crafted towels into swan shapes forming a heart.

Only thing I could point out is the hot water. For some reason the shower in our room didn’t work that well and only one person was able to shower with hot water. The second person would have to shower in cold water which isn’t ideal in winter.

The lodge was very clean and beautiful. We had the Livingston room which had an amazing view!!! The restaurant was good- we ate there every night. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend the game drives- very personal and interesting.

Accommodation was poor overall. Netting around the beds would be good as this would stop bugs falling from the thatch onto the beds. We don't mind insects but a bit of dusting would be great. There were house spiders everywhere even under the sofas. All the fixtures were basically covered in dust and cobwebs. The lighting was poor and the place could do with an upgrade. My wife unfortunately was stressed and did not sleep on either night. I would go back for the Safari but not sure if we would stay in the Lodge.

We found the staff really friendly and the service was really good. The safari experience and sunset drive were amazing. Nadia was amazing and knowledgeable. She was friendly and very interactive with us and the group.

The shower faucets are old and rusty. The curtains are dark and decor a little outdated.

The views are incredible, you can hear the Lions roar from our room. The food was great and staff very friendly.

The location and view is absolutely amazing. The room was very big and balcony view was great. A truly fantastic room!!! I would definitely book another stay.

the Mosquitos but we managed we requested for doom and all was well

one lady when we went to eat breakfast was very unprofessional, we were late 4 breakfast apparently, she refused to help us said we should wait for the gentlemen who told us breakfast finishes at 11 and she left me standing .
