Nothing I didn’t like, host was extremely accommodating and understanding with my late arrival and the accommodation was the perfect get away from the busy hustle and bustle that is life.

It wasn’t on top of other houses so there was a bit of privacy to enjoy nature without being by disturbed. Loved how close it was to everything and how many animals came to visit

Outside of the owner's control was the construction happening on the neighbouring site that disturbed the silence of nature for 2 days during our stay. The owners of the waterpark should consider a multi-day pass at a discounted rate for holiday goers.

The owner's attention to detail was experienced from the very start. Explicit instructions and directions were given the day before our check-in date. We especially appreciated the warning regarding an undesirable gravel road (which Maps apps would calculate as the shortest route), with an alternative road recommended. Key collection was effortless. Once checked in, the owner responded to all questions and requests via text message. The house had everything we needed, was spacious and the pool was a great escape from the high temperatures. The restaurant and shop complex in Marloth Park had everything we needed, a little supermarket, butchery, home industry, liquor store and a very nice restaurant called Bos with very good service and food. The waterpark was an absolute hit with the kids.

Struggled to get the Gas heater to work for hot water. After speacing to the owner, it helped. The main bedromm shower drain was blocked and took long to drain.

Spacious, and clean. Fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms and pool. Area was quite and peaceful.

No one gave extra toilet paper, and we were not aware that cleaning services were not part of the package. Also, the water from the shower kept going cold, and you had to turn the tap off and then turn on again as the water kept getting ice cold.

Lion Hill was wonderful. It has a pool. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm enough to swim, washing machine , you would need to buy washing powder. Over all the home was very modern.

The water pressure in the shower was a "bad". If not freezing cold water, it was burning hot water. Regulating the water was a challenging!

I will definitely return with my family. It was lovely and we definitely got some rest! The inverter was an amazing bonus during loadshedding, especially with a little girl aged 20 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ant infestation! No dressing table, no cushions for the patio furniture. Some of the kitchen cupboards need attention.

It would be nice, if you can leave the refuse bag for the cleaners on the last day of your departsure. With all our lugage back in the car, the refuse bag was an unpleasant burden.

The kitchen is very well equipt. The attention to detail makes the stay more special. You can see the owner really puts some heart and thought into the place. If there was something like 5star-selfcatering, this would be it 😉

It was not value for money. Luxury is cleanliness so it was not really up to standard.
