Had a Rat problem found one in the kitchen and could not get the second one, but the smell was terrible. The power kept going off every couple of minutes so aircon and fans could not work properly! This made sleeping at night very difficult.

Beautiful location on the river. The property was really well kept and clean. The butler was friendly and kept the house well. We enjoyed our stay.

Right on the Crocodile River with a lot of game roaming around. Excellent outdoor braai/ boma facilities with plunge pool. Spacious fully equipped kitchen. Ice machine was a bonus. Fully serviced by Bheki who was a great host.

The location of the kitchen is not ideal when using the downstairs braai area, however, all outside areas are most enjoyable.

We thoroughly enjoyed the visits by the large variety of animals. The bushbabies were a special treat. The stay and location of this house is very good value for money. Bheki was delightful and is a valuable employee.

The property is well located comfortable and clean . Aircon in bedrooms is wonderful, the caretaker Bhakti helped us when we had a query.

The stairs is a challenge, but with the monkeys kitchen upstairs made sense.

Amazing house with great facilities, the host was friendly and attended to us promptly. The house is like a free game drive, different animals passing by, beautiful dam nearby, close to a mall.

Is was super awesome. We saw hippo of the deck. Everything was neat and clean. Location is great next to the river. Staff was amazing and it felt like home

Bheki could wash/squeegee/wipe all the floors and counters everyday just to make the place a bit cleaner. It is very dusty this time of the year.

Good location, good view, the facilities were good (braais, kitchen, dstv, ice machine, etc, etc), a nice house all in all.

Very small rooms, not enough space for 2 people and their luggage. Towels are thin and need replacement. Expected more quality finishes for the price we paid.

The steps

The house was very nice and Beki was very helpful. However the steps in the house and up to the viewing deck were a problem for my elderly inlaws.

Roads inside marloth park are bad . We were expecting great views of the river as per photos however this was only from the upper deck.

Only drawback was the place needs a bit of maintenance, Bheki advised it will be reported and fixed (Fridge Freezers were not working correctly, aircon was dripping water inside room, insect meshes need fixing, gas brai only 2 out of 4 burners working) Not a train smash but needs some attention

The cleanliness of the facility was not satisfactory. Not sufficient crockery and cutlery. Crockery chipped. Towels not replaced regularly enough. Facilities photos on website are very deceiving.
