The “A la carte” dinner was extremely slow. on the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant we waited 1:45hr for our meals to be served.

Close proximity to Malelane Gate Kruger National Park. An amazing buffet breakfast with crocodiles and Hippos grazing right below the deck. In house massage was great.

Some areas of the hotel need renovation, but cannot find any other flaws. Had a great time here.

Great location, just outside the park in front of the Malelane gate. When we arrived we could already see hippos and elephants in the river. We had a large and very nice family room, which essentially is a little cottage with a private space to park our car. Comfy bed and clean room. Nice shower and bath. Would definitely come back.

The chalets are a bit dated and could do with little touch ups here and there, nothing major, we utterly enjoyed our stay. While the main bed is very comfortable, the second bed is a very had sleeper couch.

Great lodge in a beautiful location. Right next to Crocodile River with breathtaking views, wildlife at your doorstep and the Melane gate to Kruger just around the corner. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. Very good breakfast and dinner. For the children a great water slide off the main pool.

Room was not setup as twin beds despite requesting this before arrival. Had to move rooms the next day because of water leaking on the bathroom floor

I tried to send a message prior to our arrival to find out about taxi services from the airport, but did not receive a response. This may have been because I didn't use the right communication process.

Very convenient location for day trips. Great view over the river. Appreciated receiving a take away breakfast when we had to leave early for excursions. Breakfasts and dinners were all high quality.

The viewing deck where dinner and breakfast is served has a lovely view of the river, perfectly set to see wildlife roaming below.

Dinner was included with our stay - however quality of food on the buffet was not great and perhaps an À la carte option would have ensure a 5-star rating. Quality of towels in the rooms can improve.

Awesome view from our river facing room. Excellent amenities and location. Breakfast on the deck early morning was excellent. Staff was friendly and professional.

Some types of bugs in the room ( flies, ants )

Lovely staff and well located. The staff prepared us a breakfast pack since we were planning on waking up early, but ended up not doing it as we were very tired from the prior days. The lunch pack was very generous! Since it was low season, the pool with the slide was a bit dirty, but since the weather was cold, we did not get to use it. Will stay here again in the future.

Bath water was brown/yellow… The 2nd night we didn’t get the coffee station refilled and had to go and ask for pods and sugar & milk. Would also appreciate a kettle in the room instead of just a pod coffee machine.

The outdoor pool didn't look clean enough to swim in. Booked a safari and was given the wrong time 5am pick up instead of 5.30am..Then the drivers car broke down so waited an hour. Came back to room and cleaner had left her phone plugged into our charger.

The room was clean and had all the facilities needed..Clean towels replaced every day.. The food portions were genourous and food was excellent quality. If didn't like the half board dinner option let choose off a la carte instead.. Ideal spot to go to Kruger National Park..
