Game drives were nice but the very bushy environment makes it difficult spot animals , saw most lion , leopard (just passing ) etc but no elephant

The breakfast was always the same and also for lunch and dinner the choices were limited. Drinks you have to pay extra, but you do not find a single menu to check what it costs. Something not easy to avoid: You're in the middle of nature, hence the bugs and geckos will find their way into the tent. And geckos leave their dirt on the walls and floors. While I loved having made the experience to sleep in nature, it didn't make me feel very comfortable.

It's a cool location in the national park, where you sleep in a tent, hearing nature all night. The tents and facilities offer plenty of space. It was a very cool experience. The drives were very nice, we saw lots of animals.

Everything was 100%. I read the reviews about ticks before we arrived but I can not confirm the problems. Yes, there are ticks in the park, you are in the bush! No, the safari vehicles are not infestated with ticks. The people are very nice, 4 meals a day of outstanding quality, great tents with outside shower. Etc. etc. I can go on forever. We had a very close encounter eith a herd of elephants. Our guide Vusi knew exactly what he was doing en had a lot of knowledge about the animals and also the birds

First visit in 2013 exceeded our exportations - it was on a par with all game lodges, e.g. snacks on game drive, table covered with tablecloth during game drive. Attention to details on these small, but important points would provide overall ambience to the rides. These are constructive comments, that could benefit the stay.

Meals were healthy, well cooked, however lacking in any variety. After early morning game ride, we returned later than 3 hours, and health bread was finished, with no offer to supply to the guests. Three trucks came back later, due to sightings, so imagine there must have been others, who would prefer health bread.

Loved the privacy of the accommodations, comfort of the rooms, friendly staff, excellent guide on our game drives. Really had the best relaxing time. Food was excellent, little treat stops in the morning with coffee and rusks was a bonus.

There is nothing that I would change. Tembe is my go to park for spoils and game viewing. Although it is my 4th visit, each time it is a different experience.

Each member of staff is friendly. The food is excellent and the game drives even better. The guides never tire and remain patient even when stupid questions are repeatedly asked. They go out of their way to find whatever bird / animal it is that you want to see.

Not much we didn't like. The towels were a bit musty so recommend drying them in the sun for longer.

Meals were excellent and the staff was very welcoming. Our guide was great and even took us out an extra time to see the elephants. Loved the sundowners and the morning coffee stops on the game drives. The tents are secluded and quiet. Great for sleeping.

We felt the chalets were quite far apart, and far to walk.

The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from, and delicious fresh muffins! Staff were all very friendly. smiling and helpful at all times. In fact all the meals were excellent and the impala steaks exceptional. Our Guide, Philemon , was knowledgeable, and sha5red all sorts of interesting facts with us. We really enjoyed our stay

Portions were very good, really tasty. Soups were exceptionally tasty. We were spoilt with a private dinner and gift basket with fruit and champagne for anniversary. :-) Even in the rain the guides were very happy to drive guests on the game drives. Guides are very knowledgeable. Stunning venue.
