Shared accommodation lovely. 2 pools, meals all together as a group. Standard of food great Jesse - Safari guide was excellent, very informative and great with the kids (9yrs & 14yrs) Tents roomy and beds and room tidied and vents in tent changed twice daily.

We absolutely loved everything about this camp. Perfectly located, great pool, we felt like being on Safari at a friends house. Rob (the ranger) did an amazing job with two amazing game drives, we saw a lot of animals and had great fun. Even the shower in the tent was fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at Woodbury Tented Camp in the Amakhala Game Reserve. The tents were spacious and had everything you need. The staff were friendly and respectful, as were the Rangers. Our ranger, JP, was good fun and very knowledgeable. He paid attention to what everyone hoped to see and fulfilled their requests if possible without hindering or distressing the wildlife. I loved the fact that we were never rushed and given the time to observe and take photos.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Didn't know what to expect from this Game Reserve, but was over the moon to find a real gem of a place. Wonderful, friendly staff, delicious food, best rangers, going out of their way to find you every animal that you request. Special shout out to Lenny best guide ever! Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Planning on bringing our whole family here in the near future. Would I recommend this place to family and friends 100% yes!

Everything was great, loved the safari experience here. Sleeping in the tents was so close to nature, the main areas are beautiful and the staff is super friendly. You really feel taken care of.

Nothing it was perfect

This is an amazing experience. From check in to our last game drive every single interaction with staff was first class. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every element of our stay was perfect. The ranger guides were extremely knowledgeable and really went to great lengths to ensure that we saw all that we wanted. Special shout out to Marlii our wonderful guide whose patience was tested but she came through every time ensuring a full Big 5 experience for our stay. The tents are sooo comfortable and the showers fantastic with abundant hot water. The toiletries, heated blankets & turn down service were a great touch. The hot chocolate and Amarula was always perfect and the food/drink absolutely blooming marvellous! The resort and pools were immaculately kept and maintained. Lastly, the smiley staff really made the trip! I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly!

We had a great time at Woodbury Tented Camp, the tent was very spacious and clean. Tim our ranger was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. After the game drives, we had plenty of time to enjoy the pool area so it felt very balanced. We stayed for 2 nights and although this was plenty of time to see a variety of animals I definitely could have stayed for one more night.

Nothing. It was all great.

Gorgeous tented camp set in a lush area, lovely main building with excellent meals served by friendly, attentive staff, tents set off individually for privacy, each with a sweeping view of the preserve. Our guide, Lenny, was very experienced and we learned much about the many animals we saw - lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, many kinds of antelope, warthog, more! We did 6 3 -hour drives; suggest booking enough time to do at least 4-6.

Great stay here. Tent was pretty noisy in the wind but part of the experience. Breakfast. dinner and lunch were all great. Game drives were amazing, lions chasing cheetah and a herd of angry elephants! Amazing.

Limited choice of food options for lunch & dinner. Not enough seats around the outdoor fire to seat everyone, both days we were last back and had to stand. No lock on cabin doors.

My only issue really was the power outage 11pm to 5am, I did not see a notification about it when booking, though that is possibly one I missed so my fault. I would have brought a battery powered fan for comfort to compensate, prepare if you struggle with heat like I do

Staff are exceptional and genuinely care about your enjoyment, and are truly passionate about the park, this enhances the experience many times over. The park itself is gorgeous with some nice changes in scenery as you drive through to appeal to everyone's preferences
