Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Cooked breakfast on the premises was not so good, but tea and coffee was provided. No fridge in the room, but air conditioning. .
Convenient location within walking distance to eateries, shops, Victoria Falls and the Zambia border.

Good location. A Short walk to the falls entrance, the Elephant Walk craft area and a few bars/eateries just a few min walk away. The Room is small, cleaned daily the AC plus fan are a bonus. The property met our needs for our short stay in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful, too.

They ran out of water on our last day. Very odd. Why ?
They allowed us to check in a few hours early. The location is very good for the theatre and a tastefull Art market. Three monkeys is just a short walk, which in humid temps of 34 degrees is welcome.

The rooms are tiny, the doors in the corridor are pretty loud, so you can definitely hear it when someone comes back late in the evening.
The location is perfect if you want to see the Falls on foot. The room is clean and quite nice. The staff is helpful and ordered us the taxi upon arrival. It’s possible to order breakfast for 5-7 dollars on site.

There is no elevator to the upper floors.

May add a small fridge in the rooms since the place is hot just to chill water and drinks.And the bathroom tiles are slippery you always have to be extra careful when you are bathing.
It’s clean and the pool was excellent our kids enjoyed the pool.Also the location is good and central and close to the falls and town and restaurants.

Can't really complain about anything. Everything in Victoria Falls is overpriced for what it is.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Good location. Probably reasonably-priced by Victoria Falls standards, though very basic.

The WiFi didn't work at all.
The room was very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and the hotel staff was very nice. This location is very central and was perfectly located for my needs.

No proper working tables in the room. If you’re planning to stay long and do work, you’re forced to go downstairs or find a restaurant to work for which is not ideal in peak heat season. While I know hotel can’t control this, once I was woken up by a bug in the room that crawled into me and once I saw a cockroach. It made me uncomfortable sometimes as I feared if other bugs would get in.
Great staff, accessible to most places, convenient, mostly well maintained. A good stay.

002 was rather cramped for two .

Quite basic for what we paid. Lighting was poor in our room as there was one little strip light over the dressing table only. It made it feel dreary and we had to use our phone torch to look in our suitcases. The power sockets were faulty and the USB sockets didn’t work at all. There was a pool side bar but the staff seemed disinterested so we left. However the river brewery is right opposite and serves some food and drinks.
Conveniently located next to some eating and watering holes which is handy if you don’t have transport. Friendly reception staff. Handy tour desk. WiFi worked well. Hot water and good pressure in shower. Good sized room with tea making facilities and a fridge.

Wish we were able to make our payments online as we're not very much into carrying cash.
N1 was very relaxing for us. We also liked how close it was to the Victoria Falls- a walking distance! Would definitely come and back and 100% recommend.

The bed was uncomfortable
Location was excellent walking distance from the Victoria falls, a lot of breakfast options available as there are lots of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel
