The water park is really great for the kids. Unfortunately my youngest kid could not enjoy the bigger water slides, since for security reasons it demands a height of at least 1.20m (but he had fun anyway in the smaller water slides).

What a truly wonderful experience we had-- from A to Z-- during our two nights there. First of all, the staff were all just so welcoming, helpful and warm, showing professionalism yet humor and good cheer. There seems to be a working culture there where everyone seems to enjoy their jobs, seem to enjoy the guests. This made us feel very relaxed and welcome. Also, we traveled there by bike, and there was no problem made regarding keeping our bikes with us in our room, which is what we prefer. Speaking of the room, it was remarkably quiet, cozy, with very comfortable beds. We slept so well. Regarding the restaurant, we ate at least one breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner there. All of the meals were excellent. The buffet breakfast was probably the best I've ever had! The dinners came with complimentary tapas which was such a sweet touch. The pool and the pool area were beautiful, with lots of greenery. So relaxing and luxurious feeling. I can't speak of Hotel Macia Donana more highly, can't recommend it more sincerely. Thank you to everyone there with whom my husband and I crossed paths.
