The hotel is in a really convenient location in the station, which was handy for accessing the bullet trains. The breakfast was good and the welcome drinks was a nice touch.

Everything. You are in the heart of Gion, a must-visit neighborhood that belongs in any Kyoto itinerary. The facilities were outstanding — all beautifully luxurious — and the staff treated us incredibly well.

Everything was great. We couldn't even try to the pool, but I'm sure it's great. Use the shuttle bus from the station to the hotel every 20 minutes, it is super convenient for luggage. The rooms are great, clean and the staff is very helpful. Everything was great

This hotel has a great location! Close to Pontocho Alley and shopping street! Close to a couple of train stations and bus stops! The rooms are very comfortable and baths/bathrooms are amazing! Best hotel I stayed while in Japan!

Very lovely hotel with a spacious bathroom and room. The staff were friendly and professional. The location was close to a couple of stations but very easy to walk out the door to some of the best parts of Kyoto. As others have mentioned, the cafe next door has amazing food.

Great location, beautiful lobby area, very nice Onsen, comfortable beds and very helpful staff. Great value too. Would absolutely stay again - Definitely recommend.

One of the coolest hotel i ever stayed. Exceptional breakfast and dinner, amazing staff, stunning architechture, very good facilities (internet, hotel shuttle to Kyoto train station 2 times per hour, taxi in the front of the hotel, etc). Highly recommend.

The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean. The location is amazing it’s very close by to Kyoto Station. The prices were very reasonable even tho I stayed there in March which is considered to be peak season. Would definitely visit again

The location of the hotel was excellent — everything was within walking distance and it was very close to the subway. The rooms were very comfortable, and we absolutely loved the pajamas they provided. In my opinion, it deserves five stars, not four.

Also, it's so convenient for transport no matter travelling in Kyoto or to nearby cities. The room was big enough and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Most perfect location for every activity planned in Kyoto. Excellent breakfast spread. Amazing on-site onsen! Gion, Minamiza theater are up the street. Restaurants, bars and shopping in walking proximity. Laundromat is four buildings down the street.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in, the staff were amazing. We would highly recommend the Hotel in every category you can come up with. The room was comfortable and spacious, the view was spectacular and the location was perfect. A walk away from the underground, which was easy to navigate, restraints, cafes and fresh fruit and vegies. It is a 15 minute walk to the Nishiki markets which I. Itself was an amazing place.
