The view is stunning, and the staffs are very helpful, especially when we were having dinner, one of the sweetest and kindest staff (omg i forgot her name) offer to help my disable brother to cut the beef before we noticed he needed help!! Thanks a lot!! Hope we can come back one day!

Amazing stay in this wonderful Ryokan. The staff was so nice and welcoming! When we arrived by car, one of the staff was already waiting for us to take us the luggages and everybody was so smiley and nice. The futons are very comfortable and the Onsen at the last floor overlooking the lake and the mount Fuji is simple yet beautiful. The japanese breakfast was also amazing. I highly recommend this Ryokan for your stay.

Best experience so far on my travels through Japan. The host was incredibly kind, the facilities were clean and you could see the overall effort that they put into this guesthouse. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was filly equipped. There are also a lot of restaurants and cafés really close. He even drove me to the train station in the morning because it was raining. I’ll stay again on my next trip!

Keisuke and Marino are incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts/owners. You can feel the love and care they've poured into Murabito Guesthouse with everything ranging from the bunk beds, bilingual guide books and map of Yamanakako they've made themselves, to all the photos showing their past travels on display in the shared living space. Murabito is conveniently located to many amenities whether they be bus stops used by local buses or ones going towards Tokyo and Shizuoka. Or local eateries and grocery stores. It's a little gesture but being welcomed back after returning from a day of travel was a very refreshing thing and added to the experience. Will definitely be back in the future.

The place was very clean. We didn't expect the staff to do our dishes for us (we had left it there to hurry to a reservation) ! Super clean, super nice staff. We had thought it was slightly expensive when we booked but went to with it because we booked late and many places were not available. After seeing the place, it was totally worth the price.
