The pub had a great selection of drinks and food. Everything was really high quality and delicious. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Ling and Richard were really friendly hosts & provided great info re places to eat, sights to see, etc., and clear description of available parking. Any questions sent to them were answered quickly. Would definitely stay tgere again.

All the staff were polite & helpful - especially the assistant manager. Our room (number 11) was very clean - so too was the ensuite bathroom - albeit a bit small but that didnt bother us as we didnt spend much time in there! It was a real treat to have breakfast served to us - rather than the usual hotel buffet - so our food was cooked fresh to order & hot when served to our table- oh & there's an excellent choice of dishes for breakfast too. We didnt take dinner at the hotel but the menu looked excellent with lots of choice - inc a vegetarian option every night too. If you're looking for a hotel with traditional values & excellent service you'll not be disappointed.
