Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a relaxing break. There was a nice surprise of a bottle of wine and some sweet treats when we arrived, which was a lovely thought. We were able to sit in the garden and see lots of wildlife while we were there, including a fox at night. We would highly recommend this cottage if you want a nice relaxing break.

Staff were lovely. there is a jacuzzi and it was really enjoyable to relax in the evening. The history of the place is great and it has been kept to make us feel how things would have been then.

The property was amazing! I couldn’t believe what we had paid to stay in such luxury. It was made even better by the private hot tub which looked over a lovely field full of sheep and lambs. Just such a beautiful and relaxing space. The food was amazing also and the staff were fantastic!

Upgraded to a lodge. Exceptionally competitive price. Extremely comfortable bed and very clean accommodation. Very comfortable settees in the lounge, fully equipped kitchen, lovely warm shower and bath as well. On-site facilities were good with a heated pool, sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Again, very clean. Restaurant and shop run by separate company were both good, shop had a limited but quality selection, restaurant was excellent. Amazingly tasty food. There are even Peacocks in the grounds!

Relaxing, cosy cottage with nobody else in sight. Peaceful. It's an eco house so don't expect 5 star luxury. There are books and records with record player for use during your stay which was a lovely thoughtful touch. The owner ensured I was warm and taught me how to use the log burner. Plenty of logs supplied. Comfy snuggly bed complete with teddy bear and hot water bottle. Nice little extras.

All the food was fantastic, both in taste and presentation. We upgraded to a junior suite for that little extra luxury and it didnt disapoint. The weather on arrival (Friday) was fantastic and we made the best of our balcony and the outside bar area. On Saturday the weather was a little more gloomy and wet, but we made use of the pool area, with its jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and all really lovely. The location is great as we're all the facilities. Felt very relaxed all weekend and enjoyed the pools and jacuzzi. We also did Archery and the guy there was really great. It was good fun and well definitely be returning.

Staff were lovely. Went far and beyond the level of service required. I explained I was going to use this occasion to propose to my partner, so they upgraded our room free of charge , set everything up for me and made us feel so welcome. Amazing. Honestly, amazing.
