Rooms in Odense

The hotel is just a one minute walk away from the main station. The Economy Room actually looked bigger in person than I was expecting. It was cozy and clean, there is space to hang a few items of clothing. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. It might take a second to figure out the shower, though. Breakfast was very good, an ordinary continental breakfast, but the dessert pastries were amazing! The lady that checked me in was very friendly and gave me some advice about places to visit in Odense (and in Aarhus that I was visiting later).

City Hotel Nattergalen is a charming spot nestled in a prime location in Odense, perfect for discovering the city's vibrant attractions. While the parking situation was a bit tight, it was certainly manageable. The real highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to introduce us to Odense's touristy spots and suggested some fun local bars to visit in the evening. It's evident that they truly care about their family-owned hotel and take pride in their city. This personal touch made our stay memorable and engaging. If you're visiting Odense, City Hotel Nattergalen is a delightful choice for a warm and welcoming experience.

Travelling amenities like all day coffee and downstairs workspace (and great breakfast) made this the perfect place to stay.

The room was clean and spacious enough to open a suitcase, with comfortable beds. The staff were very kind. Since the first room I checked into smelled of cigarette smoke, the reception staff kindly changed my room.

Good stay in the city center Great location right in the center, just 10 minutes from the station. The room is small, but clean. There is a hairdryer. Check-in and check-out were very fast. There is an elevator and a backyard for smoking outside. Overall, a good place!

The location is a great starting point to visit the citycenter or any other location, basically everything is 5 minutes' walk. It also has a parking space (which we didn't use as we came with the train), it can come in handy for those who arrive with a car. The apartment really gives the "Hygge" vibes (the Danish coziness). Our host also provided us some free snacks, drinks, and coffee for our stay. Overall, we very much liked the place and we felt "local".

This hotel is located centrally, close to two stops on the tram, and is a 12' walk from the main train station and a 5' walk from the Hans Christian Andersen museum. The superior room was large and very quiet. Breakfast was ample with many choices and great coffee. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, switching my room with a quick keystroke. Very highly recommended.

Location very central, steps from HC Anderson Museum and close to train station. Room was nice and clean. Staff quite friendly.

Was in a newer room this time in a new part of the hotel. It was very nice and comfortable beds.

It was a lovely unexpected surprise: very clean, fresh, very comfortable twin beds, very excellent breakfast.

We love this hotel, this is our second time to stay here, everything was perfect, the hygiene, the location, the staff, the food, just everything. Special thanks to Julia at the reception, such a nice and professional staff member, also Malthe, I spoke to him briefly the morning of 25, also very nice and professional staff member. The evening of the 24 we met (I am sorry if I got the wrong name) I think it was Chris, half danish half Australian, such a nice staff member as well. The staff the breakfast are wonderful, the chefs too. This is the best place in Odense. Definitely we will come next Christmas and every Christmas. Until next holiday :)

Restful & relaxing location with good access to all the charm of Odense as well as scenic harbours, beaches & castle. Wide choice at breakfast with supplies always replenished & well laid out.

Amazing hotel that makes you wish there were more small, family-run hotels just like this! Friendly staff, great design, comfortable rooms and back garden, delicious breakfast. This is a hotel that could define the word 'hospitality.'

The guest house was in really peaceful quarter of Odense, full of green areas. The room was very clean, beds were really comfortable. We had breakfast at the outside tables in the green yard. We had a big screen TV with a lot of foreign channels. I like that there was a separate toilet. The staff was very nice and kind.

I did not have the breakfast. It is located in a wooded area with lots of places to walk.
