CanadaThe owners were so kind, I got to chat with them a bit about this long-family-owned property, the city, and things to do for the evening.
They helped us book a delicious traditional Japanese supper nearby as well which was great!
The stay itself is beautiful, with comfy tatami and the surrounding neighbourhood was nice to explore

Looking back at our trip it was definitely one of our favourites. The private onsen is lovely and the complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate is a nice touch. We opted for the breakfast and even that was 10/10. Super close to the bell tower and little edo. We’ve recommended to our friends already. The owner and her son were both very friendly. The breakfast is nice, it is a traditional Japanese breakfast. We had an hour to enjoy the private bath as well.
