A snack bar and drinks vending machine are available at this ryokan. There is an on-site hot spring open-air bath, 2 indoor public baths in addition to a sauna facility. Massage service is also provided at a surcharge. Luggage storage is offered, while laundry service is offered at an additional charge. I had no idea there was so much on offer! A reataurant, tea room, 2 different indoor Onsens, Sauna, outdoor Onsens. The rooms are very large and the bathrooms are quite big too, felt more like an apartment than a room to be honest! Fantastic stay, highlight of my trip.

At the ryokan, all units are allergy-free and soundproof. At the ryokan, all units come with bed linen and towels. I loved the style of the rooms and how clean they were. The bath was a nice touch after a long day of walking, and the breakfasts were good. I would highly recommend this place!

Situated a 10-minute walk from lively Kawaramachi area, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei offers Japanese-style accommodation with modern facilities and traditional design. It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The room was spacious and had the facilities you need. Staff were helpful and friendly and loved being walking distance to attractions and subway. We booked the sake and tea tasting lessons offered by the hotel and would recommend to others. I learned a lot from Jason, some Japanese words as well as history of the products.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 祇園の宿 杏花 is located in Kyoto, 300 metres from Gion Shijo Station and 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Among the facilities at this property are full-day security and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The ryokan features family rooms. So quaint and pretty, we had room 102, which had a lovely tatami floor bedroom and a separate double bedroom, super comfortable and designed, with little zen gardens outside each bedroom. The staff were lovely, they even came with me to help me find the launderette, went to the post office, just charming and helpful. Location in Gion was awesome too - the nicest part of Kyoto, quiet and traditional.
