This was one of our most serene parts of Japan with beautiful gardens and surrounding nature. The e-bike amenity was appreciated!

The open-air hot-spring bath at Fudoguchikan is available 24 hours, and separate per gender. The ryokan also houses a lounge, a shop and drinks vending machines. A variety of yukata robes are available for rent, and free parking is on site. All the staff were incredibly kind, and since the place wasn’t too crowded, it was perfect for enjoying the onsen at a relaxed pace. Being close to the airport also saved us travel time, allowing us to make the most of our trip. The kaiseki dinner was beautifully plated and full of care, with both the presentation and flavors being exceptional. This was my first trip with my mom, and we had such a wonderful time together. I would love to visit again in the future with my dad, mom, sibling’s family, and my husband.

Super welcome from the staff, including a detailed introduction to the ryokan and how to conduct yourself (delivered in a professional and welcoming manner). Amazing ryokan and relaxing onsen. Highly recommend. Serene surroundings of the beautiful garden and pond. Truly idyllic. Thoughtfully tailored vegan kaiseki for my partner. Taste didn’t 100% hit the mark (see below sole negative comment), but we couldn’t fault the effort that had gone into the meal. Great breakfast. Unique experience (breakfast in a yukata).
I loved the general vibe of the staff and the home was beautiful! It’s a welcoming environment and provides a more authentic cultural experience, being able to sleep on tatami and futons! Also there is a cafe and bar downstairs that serves great drinks!
Nice price for private room even if it's just tatami with futon and fan, I liked it!
A modernized ryokan which doesn't feel neither pandering nor too reinvented. We had a great time in the onsen facility, and at the end of the day we wished we had a couple of nights more to unwind here. Exploring the hotel in the complimentary indoor clothes felt like a long, big hug.
The location is good, close to several subway lines and two railway stations. The Onyado Nono formula combines modern hotel facilities with traditional ryokan elements in a good way, which makes it a comfortable place for older travellers. The breakfast is great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of toiletries, cool pyjamas. More comfy than yukata.
Perfect location, very central and few minutes walk from the metro station. Sleeping in a ryokan is a great adventure, and the futon beds were very comfortable! Breakfast was nice as well, recommended if you would like to try the whole experience. They kept our luggage in the morning and we found them carried in our room when we checked in later in the afternoon.
Of course the onsen, but also the breakfast room, which looked very friendly and open. The breakfast itself was very good as well, especially nice as it was a traditional breakfast - as well as traditionally served. The room was nice, but of course traditionally small as a Japanese room with futons. We got exactly what we expected as a "typical Japan experience"
Absolutely lovely stay in an authentic ryokan. The welcome treats, yukata (bathrobe), and bath slippers provided were sweet, homey touches. The in-house onsen was a great way to end a long day and unwind.
