WOW. This was a shot in the dark booking since I couldn’t find a place near the beach that was tattoo friendly. We were blown away at the facility, amenities and overall beauty of the location. I booked 3 rooms. Everyone had their own private onsen bath. My husband and I upgraded to the sauna barrel room and we LOVED IT. The guys all did sauna in the morning. They even give you handmade authentic sauna hats. Breakfast was simple but filling. Half of the group did the Japanese style, half did American. My jumbo toast made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie having breakfast. There is a vending machine in the breakfast area was a variety of snacks and drinks. Our van made it on the roads to the property. So a standard vehicle will have no issue. Beautiful creak flowing in the backyard of every room. Every room has an entrance, toilet & sink room, living room (doubles as bedroom bc you have tatami beds), vanity sink & rack, THEN sliding door to your shower & bath, THEN sliding door to your porch with seating. Our room had the barrel immediately to the left of the porch with ANOTHER outdoor tub. Price was excellent!!

The private bath was fantastic with an open garden! The room was very comfortable and spacious with a garden view. Very pretty. I would have stayed longer.

Hakone Checkpoint is 22 km from the ryokan, while Hakone Shrine is 25 km away. Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- features sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kawazu, 37 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Guests staying at this ryokan have access to a balcony. Guests have access to a hot spring bath, public bath and open-air bath. This place is a luxury, you are treated exceptionally well, the staff is extremely helpful and kind and so very welcoming. The amenities and location are just amazing, you can walk along the beach as it's right across the street, There are only a few rooms so it is very peaceful, the onsens are amazing, the staff made us wonderful ice coffee to relax with outside as well. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Such amazingly helpful and kind hotel staff / it made our stay extra special. The room was lovely the private Onsens wonderful and the food spectacular- but you need to have a healthy appetite!!!😁
