Everything in good and nice☺️
Wonderful staff, so attentive and delightful- the food was wonderful too!
I’m picky. And I loved Everything. It’s such a beautiful and serene property. Onsen is available 24 hours. I love their yukata.
Well maintained with high levels of service
Fantastic location, rooms, onsen, and staff. My family absolutely adored this place.
Omakase style dinner and breakfast was amazing, beautiful scenery from our room window!
I loved this hotel so much! It was a beautiful hotel with Japanese architecture and accents that made it unique and beautiful. It is also very near (walking distance) the iconic sites at the town, such as the Shuzenji Temple and hotspring. Our family had a wonderful time walking to these sites and taking our time soaking in the views, the weather and just the whole vibe of the place. We absolutely loved our time in Izu and would recommend for everyone to go once in their life. The staff were also so respectful and sweet. They helped us with luggage out and even waved goodbye to us long after our car left. We could spot the staff waving from afar. They are really so sweet. Thank you for making it a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed our stay in traditional Japanese ryokan. For us it was a first experience and we truly could feel the relaxing atmosphere and hospitality. Traditional Japanese breakfast is very interesting to try, it’s more like a ceremony and restaurant’s stuff is extremely nice and professional. The location is also good, it’s a short walk to Shuzhenji walking area. The hotel has a nice landscape, every house has its own privacy.
We unfortunately only stayed for one night at this hotel as it was a transit hotel for us but what I can say is that it exceeded all of our expectations. We only wanted to have an outdoor batch and to relax but we didn't expect it to be this nice. I feel like this is one of the rare occasions where the photos don't do the hotel justice, as the room was much nicer than we thought it would be. + The hotel is located in a remote-ish area, in the forest and it feels really calming. I don't know how feasible it is to come here if you don't have a car, because even something as simple as going from the front desk to your room requires a pretty long walk. If you come with your car, pay attention to the road, especially at night since there's deer around. We had one almost jump in front of us. + The staff spoke good English and they were very polite and helpful. The check in was quick and easy. + The room was incredible. Super spacious, modern and clean. The beds were big and comfortable. You have pretty much all the amenities that you could need. - The open air bath is the star of the show and it really was an amazing experience.
This place was a major highlight of our trip! The kaiseki dinner and the breakfast the next morning were by far two of the best meals we had. The whole experience was so memorable. Private onsens mean you can use them with tattoos and also together with your partner. The rooms are enormous and the staff are all very kind and friendly. I can't think of a single fault with this ryokan, expect that perhaps it is a bit of a trek to get to if you're only staying one night. But we thought it was definitely worth it and would absolutely do it again.
The resort was tucked away in a beautiful village. Excellent place to wind down and relax. The onsen was well maintained and clean. The staff were amicable.
Was just like it was pictured, it was an amazing traditional experience and the people there were extremely helpful with explaining how the courses and dining experience worked.
everything. The old building, the ambiance, the food, everything
Everything was wonderful. Gorgeous room with a lovely onsen and wonderful food. The staff were so kind and helpful and the place is one of a kind. I absolutely recommend, particularly if you are a foodie, love unique boutique experiences and enjoy a private onsen.
Exceptional Onsen facilities, fabulous food and perfect service.
BEWARE; property as advertised on booking.com is not accurate. Attempted to navigate the property’s webpage but it doesn’t not offer an option in English.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were alright but not exceptional.
I love how the staff are kind and provide us with our request for the food. They even lent us the bath for just for us for entirely one hour.
Clean, considerable resources provided, nice restaurant and friendly staff. The garden, hot spring and room itself are excellent and beautiful.
One of the best hotels I have been in Japan. Great view, big rooms with traditional feel, fantastic hot springs on the roof and located near some of the best spots to visit in the area. The area is in the countryside and generally there are way more local tourists than foreign ones. This is already a plus. Breakfast is perfect and can accommodate even picky foreign eaters. The hotel has its years, but despite that it offers everything you may need and more. Definitively visit the hot springs: a real blessing. Around the area there are a lot of natural spots to visit but it can get tricky to move around without a car.
Staff were very professional and friendly. Place is gorgeous and clean. Would definitely come back to TKP!
Fantastic stay, overall very happy. Will return.
