Arezzo is a treasure!
Arezzo is a treasure! We were only there for one night and I wished we had a little more time. We were there the day before the annual jousting event (first Sunday in September) and there was a lot of excitement in the air! It would have been very fun to watch that but we had to leave. There is a huge antique/market to explore, lots of restaurants, and sites around the city to explore. The film Life is Beautiful was filmed in Arezzo and there are markers showing which sites were in the movie.JeniferUnited States - Scored 1010

I had a business interest to visit the city so i wish i had one more day to stay there, nice food around it maybe also was lucky because my host did recommend me nice places (Bibi boutique Arezzo}, less crowded than other cities but with better quality , the city is an uphill that is not too steep and walking in it is rewarding if you reach the top there is an old castle and a park that overlooks the surrounding area . i had tasty pizzas at Oscugnizzo pizzeria, and at Antica osteria l'agania you can enjoy Italian specialties in a nice ambience . wish you a great stayPierreLebanon - Scored 1010

In 2022, 6 of us stayed for a week in a villa on the Pomaio Vineyards property overlooking Arezzo (a highly recommended stay). May 2024 was my 2nd time in Arezzo, this time staying two nights in the heart of Old Town (Some of the film Life is Beautiful was filmed in Piazza Grande). Old Town and the adjacent park is beautiful and MUCH less touristy than other popular spots. It's a hidden gem in my opinion. It's also a great jumping off place to Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra among other picturesque spots. And Pomaio has wine tasting, so if you can't afford to stay in one of their villas, do the wine tasting!

I LOVE THE PLACE LIKE MY OWN HOUSE. IT´S AT THE CENTER MANY PLACES AROUND. THE ONLY BAD POINT IS THAT DON´T HAVE ELEVATOR BUT IN MY CASE I DON´T CARE NOT SO HIGH THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE KINDNESS OF THE OWNER EVERYTHING PERFECT I´LL COME BACK AGAIN TO SO MUCH BEAUTIFULL CITA AND AT A PERFECT APARTMENT. We have been to Arezzo a few times now and it is just wonderful! A stunning little medieval town that doesn’t get too many visitors. Buzzing at night, and lovely, cobblestoned clean streets during the day. A super treat if you’re there during Saracino festival times in June/July or September - look it up, it’s very well worth the visit!Cathy-DavidAustralia

We loved the accommodations, they were super handy and very close to the main atractions of the historic center. The parking spot is just a few meters outside the house and the host went to catch us on a combined location and guided us trought the ztl zones till the hotel. Last but not least, he gave us very good tips, including places to eat which were marvelous!! We recommend it!

Otherwise the hotel is old and the facilities reflect that. What we liked was the breakfast, it was fresh both sweet and savory.
