Kappelrodeck is beautiful and not too touristy.
Kappelrodeck is beautiful and not too touristy. I could imagine living here to be honest! Nice selection of restaurants and a beautiful little konditorie. The people were super nice and friendly, no matter where we went and it is a fabulous home base to then go out and explore the area on hikes through the forests and vineyards. A must visit is the Zuckerbergschloss cafe/restaurant, which became one of our fave places to go. The Wine from the Hex Von Dasenstein winery is also excellent and well worth a visit to taste what they have on offer.TracyGermany

This is like a hostel, and taking this into account is perfect. You can use the saloon for you own food with cold drinks available. Big common spaces to be use. Our 4 people room was quite small. Breakfast correct without sweet things, while cheese or hot options (scramble eggs, nación…).
