Everything! Loved this place. Comfortable beds and pillows, nice and clean. Fantastic waterfall shower and great wifi. Large TV in room and a convenient hanging system for clothes with shelves built in. Breakfast was provided of ham, cheese, bread, preserves and juice. 3 free parking spaces provided and we didn't have any trouble getting a free space. Lovely lounge with TV. Location was central in Praia da Vitoria with a large supermarket nearby.

The hostel is a beautiful place near the beach of Praia da Vitoria, really close to the airport (like 5/10 mins by car). We only stayed a night in a double room which was even better than what I was expecting. Also the common areas seemed cozy.
Moreover, the most appreciate thing has been the girl in the reception who was amazingly kind and helpful (she even solved us a big problem with the taxi for the next morning at late hours).
A very beautiful town. Lots of different street mosaics, some very nice shops. Main street is a climb. Several nice restaurants and bars/cafes run by locals. We stayed away from the tourist restaurants and higher prices. Very quiet when we were there. Waterfront paths lovely. Beach is being revamped (June 2024). Very nice marina. A very peaceful place. Some interesting historical monuments and other things. A perfect place to stay and if you rent a car, it's very easy to visit all other areas of this small island. It took us 50 minutes to get from Praia da Vitoria to Santa Barbara at the south side of the island. Angra is wonderful to visit, lots to see, but we were very happy we stayed in Praia da Vitoria.

We were exhausted when we arrived.
We were exhausted when we arrived. Because it was raining, we enjoyed a quiet nap. When the rain passed, we walked to the market through the residential streets admiring the architecture and gardens. We enjoyed a simple meal at 'home', as the apartment felt like home instantly.

Good food and plenty of places to eat for people with dietary requirements, really good Chinese food on the hill to the beach as well local fish. Nice people in local shops and bars very polite. Really good value for money as nothing is too expensive . Great eco ethics on global warming across the Island , paper bags, not too much plastics and no rubbish. Enjoyed the nature , bird watching, dolphins and whale sightings .

Praia da Vitoria is such a wonderful place.
Praia da Vitoria is such a wonderful place. I love it because it is not too crowded and is very peaceful, with all the gorgeous views, the beaches, the many places to shop the many places to just stop and grab a drink or a bite to eat without having to go too far.
If you love to stay in a place where you can just relax, enjoy the beach, the views, food and still have the opportunity to travel to the many beautiful sites available, this is a great place for you. My husband and I come every year, will be back this next July again for about 3 weeks. We don't care for the crazy, loud and busy city places, so this is the perfect place for us.

I was stationed on the Rock back in 94/95, it has evolved since then, but at the same time it has gone quieter since the base was reduced in personnel due to drawdowns. Getting around is easy, less traffic and quiet area, its the only sandy beach on the island and very clean

This is a lovely hotel and for its medium size offers lots of things you might expect in a bigger hotel. It is child friendly. The breakfast is good and extensive for the number of guests. The bread is very fresh and the home made jams a delight. The bar area did not seem to be used very much. The sea view is worth the extra as otherwise it is just a place to stay. There is a back entrance with a bell which helps you get to the seaside quicker and safely. There is a bus stop outside the hotel to go to Angra.
The location was not far from the shore and city center by foot.
The room was spacious.
The pool is a plus when the weather is nice and sunny.
The breakfast was the best option in this hotel when you wake up early.
