The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable . The restaurant where breakfast and dinner were served was beautiful looking out to the sea . The rooftop bar with infinity pool - magnificent . The staff were so friendly and attentative . The breakfast menu was good and we gave a really nice dinner one night at a good price Do yourself a Favour and if you are looking for a hotel in Negombo just book the Regal Resau .

We chose this hotel for our last night in Sri Lanka as it is placed quite close to the airport (30 min by tuk tuk). The staff was very welcoming and the room is cozy and nicely designed. We wanted to have a late checkout as our plane was only in the evening and we were able to do so by paying an additional 4000 rupees. There is also a restaurant where they served breakfast.

Lovely stay at Leighton Resort. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful! They were very responsive to my request for an airport pick up and were ready waiting to pick me up from Colombo airport even after I had made an error with my flight details. At the hotel, I was treated to a welcome drink and helped to sort out a SIM card for such a good price. Because of my great experience, I booked another 2 nights at the end of my trip! When it was time to head to the airport, it was no problem for a drop off at midnight! I would recommend a stay here at the beginning/ end of your Sri Lankan trip :)

    There's lots to do in Negombo, with many good restaurants and bars in the town centre. It's very lively in a nice way. There are also some fine large hotels and a big choice of villas and 'Bed and Breakfasts' for you to choose from, for all budgets... Also, it's just 20 minutes from the airport, so it's a very convenient location.

    Negombo is an interesting place with its own distinctive style different to other places in Sri Lanka. The beaches are lovely during the right season. There are also rivers and canals to explore with plenty of birdlife and wildlife. Restaurants, cafes and bars are plentiful.

    Negombo has quite a bit too offer.

    Negombo has quite a bit too offer. We enjoyed the boat tour in the lagoon very much, sailing from the Dutch Canal into the lagoon feeding monkeys and spotting colorful lizards. Any TucTuc driver can take you on a city tour along fish markets, temples of all sorts of beliefs. In the center there are also some trendy big restaurants catering for Sri Lankans and tourists alike,

    After an eight day tour of Sri Lanka we added a few days at Christima's. I liked the swimming pool and it was walking distance to the restaurants and shops. Our room had a view to the swimming pool and was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we got a lift to the airport early morning. We appreciated the early morning pick up. The driver was friendly and on time. We recommend Christima for a stay as it is a relaxing place and value for money.

    Given the location of Negombo to Colombo its a good location...

    Given the location of Negombo to Colombo its a good location to the city but I would advise take two days in Negombo (nothing much in Colombo and Negombo)and make a few more days to Galle (very peaceful quiet, touristy) and definitely catch that Kandy to Ella train for that epic train pic. Overall beautiful experience and the people very welcoming kind and loving.

    The hotel stay was the best.

    The hotel stay was the best. The staff was exceptionally helpful including the Hotel Manager. Great food. Along the street variety of restaurants with delicious food is available. I would highly recommend the Jetwing Beach Hotel and making the bookings through Booking.com

    Very beautiful room with beautiful bedding, decor and balcony. We could hear peacocks from our room :) The shower was stunning! The hosts were kind and attentive. It was very nice to be greeted with a cold towel and fruit juice! Not too far from the beach and from restaurants. The pool was small but we were the only ones in there so this was okay. We travelled around Sri Lanka for 2 months and this was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in! Thank you

    This hotel was absolutely amazing. Pool area was definitely the highlight. Room was luxurious and everything was well thought of. Breakfast was very good as well. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. This was by far the best hotel I've stayed in Sri Lanka. There's something magical about this hotel. Will definitely come back here to stay longer when I visit the country again.
