I only travelled through Cheadle Village on the local bus several times but I remember it from a long way back. There are some local shops along with the chains and a few pubs and coffee bars to rest in. An Iceland supermarket dominates the centre. The abiding feature for me is the church and churchyard of St Mary's at the western end. It is very well kept and a lovely sight at the moment with the cherry trees all in bloom. Around where I stayed, at The Village Hotel, the suburban houses are all large with well kept gardens and frontages.

Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel.

Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel. I found a lovely restaurant called Ratatouille that served me very nicely even though it was in the afternoon and I was the only person there. The village has suffered from the pandemic and some businesses have closed. It is a lovely place to walk around and spend some time.

Easy walking distance to Cheadle village, where there is many charity shops but few boutiques and no bookshops! Lots of barber shops and nail bars!!! Village Hotel bar food was good for breakfast and lunch. Beautiful walks in Bruntwood Park and another park near Village Hotel.

Fabulous hotel great location for Cheadle and Didsbury where we visited family. Our room had a lovely view over the park. There are loads of good restaurants near by however the hotel restaurant is excellent. Both the restaurant and bar areas are well decorated comfortable places to unwind. There is a fantastic Uber service here which is very cheap to get about. Would make a lovely Manchester airport hotel if you wanted to extend your holiday and go down the night before you fly. There are lots of places to walk in both Cheadle and Didsbury too.

Cheadle is a stones throw from Manchester airport so an ideal place to stay if you have an early or late flight. I stayed here due to being on a course for work (in Cheadle) and didn't fancy the long drive there and back in peak traffic.

    Good hotel .

Good hotel .Good staff, Good Lobby/Foyer but the Rooms new decor did not appeal to me. (Loud colours and designs trying to make it look ultra modern) No telephone in the room although website stated room being booked has a telephone , Walk to the reception area was inconvenient to contact housekeeping / room service etc

Reception excellent. very friendly and made to feel very welcome, room was excellent, very well appointed and clean, beds very comfortable we really enjoyed stay. We had dinner in the restaurant and as it is was a Sunday only Sunday dinner was available which was ok nothing special, however as we were flying from Manchester the next day it was great compared to a faceless airport hotel. Would definitely use the hotel if flying from Manchester the next day in the future. Service is excellent, would definitely recommend.

We had a reservation for just one night as the hotel is convenient near the Manchester Airport and we had an early flight out. We were very pleasently surprised how nice this hotel is. A wonderful old building, inside newly renovated and very stylish. Also with a nice bar and very nice restaurant where we had a very satisfying dinner. Bed was a king size and extremely comfortable! Staff friendly and helpful.

Loved the decor and the facilities in the room. The shower was great. Didn’t get a chance to try out the bar or dining room but would do that if we stay again. The park location was lovely though we didn’t get a chance to explore because of the rain. Staff were always available and very helpful. The hotel decor us a lot of fun - loved the quirkiness and humor in the art pieces displayed.

The hotel was only a £20 cab from the middle of Manchester, the beds were so comfy and the bathroom was spotless. Very lovely staff too, we had an awful journey up to the hotel due to traffic was meant to take as 4 hours ended up being 8!!! The lovely manager knocked on our door with a bottle of FREE Prosecco as a welcome gift as we had such a crap journey up!

The location wasn't too bad for the commute to the airport. The room was big for what I needed. Close to a supermarket to buy snacks and drinks. Helpful staff on arrival, booked a taxi for early morning (although price that was mentioned was way out) -Not hotel fault. Reasonable price, not the cheapest but other reviews were good.

The property had to be the worst hotel iv stayed in. We were under a gym where people dropped weight and it shuddered our whole room till 10 and then we were above the club where we heard the lyrics of all the songs. When that quieted down we could here conversations of the guest drunk word to word. I had no sleep

I was stopping overnight between one flight that came in too late and the next too early -- plus an unending immigration line that constantly makes Manchester airport the worst in the UK. In the end I spent only about 3 1/2 hours there, but the staff was amazing and the room comfortable.

Lovely homely hotel. We stay here the night prior to an early morning flight from Manchester Airport. The location is prefect, 5 minute drive. The hotel has such a warm, classic English feel. We was up and out at 4am. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
