My room was super beautiful, modern and spacious. The terrace, garden and pool invite to relax with plenty of comfortable seating. The breakfast was lovingly prepared and delicious.
Tea, coffee and fruit were available all day. I particularly liked the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind.

Old Town was brilliant.
Great base to visit San Sebastián & a short boat ride across the harbour to Hendaye (France), which we knew nothing about but where the beach & the promenade were a real (pleasant!) surprise.

A wonderful town with a lot of character and great views of the river/bay. I would love to go back. The restaurant area is nice, as is the walking area by the water. Find free parking near the large grocery store and walk in. Hard to find parking

There were things I wanted to do and see but the weather wasn’t great. I think it’s over hyped and over priced in relation to the food. San Sebastián was much better and had more choice and was much better value. The area is of course beautiful and the old town was worth seeing but it does have its limitations.

Lovely place to use as base for day trips to Biaritz an San Sebastiaan. It also has a wide sandy beach, lovely promenade and wide leafy pedestrian walkways. The old town and the colourful old buildings are very interesting.

Very nice little town right at the border with France, giving you the opportunity to visit places at the both sides of the Basque country. It has very nice sandy beach at the end of the quite a long walkway where people walk, ride bikes, rollers, skates. You can enjoy sitting at the nice cafeterias around the city, but the main experience is actually the medieval, fortified city center located few minutes walk from the sea. Narrow streets, beautiful stone buildings, nice restaurants, small town squares. Definitely a city worth of visiting!

1)Hondarribia is a place I liked very much, lots to see and do and a beautiful harbour for swimming.
2) Take a little ferry to France, have lunch and have a drink at one of the many bars / restaurants.
3) You MUST go to the La Hermandad de Pescadores, what a wonderful experience, delicious food, nice wine and very pleasant staff .
4) I thought the Pintxos were very boring compared to what's on offer in San Sebastian
The location in Hondarribia is excellent, right in the centre of town. We opted to pay for parking outside which at €8 was very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room ( the most basic) was pretty and very comfortable and clean, with steps up to a stone balcony with views over the river.
It’s also next door to an excellent tapas bar which serves really delicious food.
Charming and cozy apartment, one of the colorful buildings found in the marina district, which made our stay extra special. Two bedroom, two baths and shutter windows that opened unto a little balcony. Easy access to many restaurants, the old town, the beach, marina and transportation. Communication with host timely and informative. Would definitely stay here again!
A beautiful renovated building at the entrance to the old town. Very nice design both inside and out. Amazing views stretching over the Bidasoa river, France and the Basque mountains. Great access to all the nice restaurants, tapas bars and beaches. And the host was very charming and helpful.
I had asked for parking so was given a 'garage' within underground parking just across the road from the hotel so very secure. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed, bathroom spotless. Good location to walk to old town and restaurants.
Glorious views from huge verandah and a perfect, peaceful place to relax. Excellent location for exploring Hondarribia, Pasajes San Juan and San Sebastian. Immaculate facilities. Kitchen very well set up to self cater. Very friendly host. Breakfast is generous.
Luxurious hotel in a distinctive unique historic building. Great views from the high point in the old town. Helpful staff. Everything is top class and there is a lovely buffet breakfast with fantastic basque cake too. Can easily reach San Sebastian by bus.
Nice location next to a park, across the street from the old castle/fort .
The hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was good. Easy walk in distance to town and sea. A good value.
We loved the fact that the hotel was pet friendly. Also loved having a parking space right at the entrance. Courtyard for breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly & helpful.
