The place is now festering with all kinds of weird Arabian food which invariably starts with Al-. Booking.com could not help me to accommodate in any near by places. Had to rush to book my train tickets on same day and returned with cancelled trip. We are very proud of our beloved THRISSUR, THE CULTURAL CAPITAL of Kerala. The people of Trichur are very kind and straightforward and non cheating also. Taxi, auto drivers are kind enough. Town itself is small enough to walk around the centre.
Town itself is small enough to walk around the centre. Archeological museum is moderately interesting and Our Lady of Dolours Church and tower were very impressive. Bazaar area had lots of atmosphere. Outside the town there are other places- temples, churches, archeological sites and beaches, but need car to reach.
