This B&B is THE place. We were treated like family. I felt so cared for and attended to, the lovely owner made sure there were cookies and asked which wines we would like. I was absolutely astounded with the care and consideration with the room and accommodations. The entire place was decorated beautifully, (which is SO HARD for hotels and B&B to accomplish,) it was decorated not only perfect for the area, but perfect for Newport. Newport is GORGEOUS, and the Bed and Breakfast completely reflected it! It had beach access which was adorably decorated on the walk there and back. The bed was lovely and clean and it had a whole fireplace!!!!!!!! I really cannot overhype this place, I almost don't want to leave a lovely review because I'd love to gatekeep it all for myself! If you're lucky enough to snag a room, I'm JEALOUS!! 129/10 Love it.

I really appreciated the one and only lady working the entire hotel by herself which by the way had no vacancy. She was on top of everything even though she had a lot going on. All while being extremely friendly and customer focused.

We had a great time visiting with my Husband and kids. The indoor pool was a great hit with the kiddos and the rooms were very clean and tidy. We had a hillside view but did not mind it. We will surely booking here again, it was very comfortable and calm environment.

Newport is a working town, not just touristy.
Newport is a working town, not just touristy. There are tourist attractions, like Nye Beach and the historic waterfront, but there are people with real jobs and careers, not just catering to tourists. Gas is cheaper here than in the valley.
Across the river is the Marine Science Center and the Oregon Aquarium. We used to go there a lot with kids, but now they don't travel with us any more.
Other things near Newport are very nice for the outdoorsy types. Lots of hiking, biking, kite flying, etc.

We love Newport.
We love Newport. We really enjoy walking on the dock where the Large fishing boats are tied up. There are also really nice beaches all aroiund Newport. The aquarium is also located there and the beautiful bridge that fills the point of view. We ate at the Chowder Bowl at Nye Beach out on the deck, which allows our dog to be there as well.
Newport is easy to navigate. We also enjoy camping near Newport and will probably do that this coming summer. The Central Oregon coast is one of our favorite places to visit.

Food, Dock and pier areas, and the near by beaches are all breathtaking. The little main street on the pier is fun to walk around and explore and the Local Ocean and Chowder Bowl is amazing for seafood.

Newport is such a lovely little town with a lot of fun things to do. We really enjoyed the aquarium and had an awesome lunch at a little place called Ocean Blue seafood. They make an excellent burger as well. But honestly we spend a lot of time at a really quaint restaurant called Chalet that had some serious home down cooking. We had country fried steak breakfast, open face turkey sandwiches and meatloaf sandwiches both hot excellent. Had eggs and potatoes and toast awesome and a great waffle. And they have a fantastic bakery. We also drove around the town to the markets and stuff and everybody was really friendly. Driving around it's such a clean area. And just seeing the ocean when you're driving around is wonderful with those huge waves.

The city of Newport is great, the Shilo Inn was not great, or even acceptable.
They sell you on great restaurant and lounge with a breakfast etc. The restaurant and lounge and breakfast buffet are all closed due to Nobody has a lease so they're empty, no early or late check in, no room cleaning during the stay, walk to office to request towels etc. Avoid Shilo Inn on Booking. It was a small studio, but very thoughtfully appointed.
It was a small studio, but very thoughtfully appointed. It had a small kitchen area, microwave and small refrigerator, like most places, but it had extras, like wine glasses, lots of coffee pods. Not to mention the balcony right off the sliding glass doors that walks out onto a small deck that has a spectacular view of the ocean. Lots of window that look out as well. Oh and the pelicans! Lots of pelicans!
The location was perfect - acessible to dining, shopping, Nye Beach...as well.as centrally located in Newport, so easy to get to any destination we desired. The room was very comfortable! And we had the most amazing view from our balcony!! Also, for a small additional cost, we had access to the neighboring hotel's amenities - which included an Infinity Spa and breakfast room service each morning!
It was pretty good for 160$ it was a 1 bed room the room looked new and the bed was comfortable they told me the tv channels don’t work so I had to buy a roku. The service was good and the people were kind. The hotel was good I only needed it because I was going to the beach so I only used the room to sleep and leave my stuff their. For 160$ its pretty good 👍🏻
This hotel is deceptive. From the outside it looks very basic almost tired. Leaves you uncertain. However the rooms have all been significantly upgraded and are very comfortable and well appointed. Overall clean but the bathroom floor was a little grubby. It had probably been swished over with a wet mop and not cleaned off.
Buetiful and very unique beach and ocean view - that alone was worth the stay. Besides that hotel has a good restaurant that serves dinners and breakfasts, nice stuff and in general very good vibe. Also laundry was top tier - clean, well maintained and the in-hotel shop for small necessities was defenitelly a plus as well.
The Inn at Nye Beach is located in a great neighborhood in Newport, OR. The inn itself if lovely. Our room had a fireplace and neighborhood view. There are also great ocean view rooms available. The inn is located right on the beach with lots of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby.
The room was great and the kitchen very well equipped. The view of the beach was fantastic. You could lie in bed and watch the ocean. The staff recommended restaurant in Newport was very good, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and rice.
Very nice people at the front desk! The room was very clean, big and confortable.
The hotel is cozy and everything looks new and charming about the hotel.
The swimming pool in front of the sea is amazing!!
Great location. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The parking was very convenient. Our vehicle enjoyed a better view than many other hotels on the coast.
This a hotel for one night in the road. The room was old but wide, the bathroom was clean, Microwave oven and fridge worked fine, the breakfast was simple.
Friendly Host - Owners were very accommodating, private beach access, close to Lincoln City and Newport. Fully stocked kitchen with one bedroom suites.
