We have visited Lemmer many times over the years and are happy to find many of the same restaurants and bars still going (especially after Covid). It is a vibrant, friendly town, based around the Ijsselmeer and canals, many boats of all shapes and sizes. We didn't swim in the Ijsselmeer (it was May, and bear in mind it used to be part of the North Sea!) Lots to see and do round about, though our holiday was mainly based around fishing (myself, with some success) and reading in a lounger (my wife).KevinUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010

The harbors are really nice, and there are nice views, a lovely city. And perfectly cycling place to Lemmer. The train station is a little bit far, so if you are cycling to Lemmer and want to transfer by public transport in the middle, it's not that easy.,XiaojuanNetherlands

It has all the facilities including fully equiped kitchen, with some nice details like a full service set of 'Fruit and Flowers', which fits very nicely with the country style of the place. The bathroom has a washing machine, living room with TV and dining table and an access to a small garden. Pets are welcome. The owner was very friendly and helpful at all times.
