Relaxing and quiet place. Ambience is REALLY good. Staff are accomodating. Guests can have extra jamming activities, which other lodgings do not have. The fireplace is also a plus. I like it since I easily get cold. Amazing view, not from our room since we are on the 1st floor, but on the 4th floor viewing area. They accept to cook our brought foods for 50pesos per cooking. Yes, you have to walk, go up a little😁 from the main road to get to the house. Oh, I also love the dining area. Still, our overall stay is great👍 !

Very relaxed, especially in comparison with say Banaue.
Very relaxed, especially in comparison with say Banaue. More spacious, less hectic and more attractive. Many of the things to see and do were walking distance from the town - significantly reducing costs as you only needed a guide and not transport. Beware of the cave connection and read up about it first. It is not very safe! But to visit the caves is fantastic. Also, when you visit the underground river be prepared to actually walk along it! Make sure your guide has lights and you wear the right clothes. Do visit the pottery and pay to throw a pot. Do have a crepe at the crepe shack! Be aware that local coffee is only 50/60pesos - you can get caught out paying 150! Enjoy, it’s worth the effort to get here.

It is possible, once you've registered at the Municiple Tourist Info centre, to see some sites yourself. For example, the hanging coffins are accessible via the right side of the church. However, there are a few guide centres provided by the INFO office, that are a very reasonable rate for up to 10 people (at time of writing). We recommend taking one. Ask about local life. Don't just walk to the sites for a selfie. Selfies aren't memories, interactions are.

I took a guide for Echo Valley and the hanging coffins and Paytokan Walk in the morning.
In the afternoon with the sale guide, I went to Lumian Cave and Sumaguing Cave and it was Amazing.
Before starting your visite you have to register at the tourist office.
A little tip if you go there, take money before like I did because There is only 1 ATM AT tourist office and It was not compatible with my card.

It’s such a pleasure to experience the beautiful native houses!
The staff speaks really good English !The only thing I was surprised is the bathroom full of huge ants.
I spend 49 mins draining the ants .Glad we didn’t get bites !It should be nice to experience the Bon Fire at tonight but we were late from touring the place !
Definitely I will stay again someday !Thank you!

Sagada has great potential.
Sagada has great potential. It has the famous hanging coffins, caves, and lovely hikes.
The disappointments start when you have to book an arrival pass using a code supplied by your hotel. If you don't you will be turned away from the town.
Traffic on the main road is a nightmare, it is one-way wide, with two-way traffic, and almost no parking. So getting to the restaurants and shops is a challenge. There is paid parking but a long walk away, and it fills up.
When we were there most of the sites were "closed" unless you booked long tours. It is hard to believe that outdoor sites and hikes could be "closed" but unless you go to the tourist office, wait in long lines, buy a tourist pass, get a tourist "stub" and book a tour guide for a 3-4 hour formal tour, everything is closed to you. It is so bureaucratic, I won't go back till the memory fades.
Oh the pottery place was terrific.

The weather in Sagada is wonderful.
The weather in Sagada is wonderful. I just like to sleep and eat there. I suggest Log Cabin and Misty Lodge for their food. Salt & Pepper has a great hot chocolate. You must try! :) If you are a vegetarian, Gaia Cafe & Crafts is for you. You can find it on the southern part of the town. They also have fruit wines and bugnay is the best seller. If you like some tea, mountain tea is the one. Will I go back again? Definitely. Yes. :))
