Our room was big enough for 3 people, it was clean and our towels and bedsheets were changed regularly.
The beds were quite alright and the bedsheets were clean and with no holes or cuts in them (might seem strange but we've been to supposedly luxurious places with torn bedsheets, dust all over, broken glas, hole in the floor etc..).
The communication with the hotel was was and fast peior to our arrival, check in and check out were great.. In addition to all, of course the great price which included breakfast, the hotel was a greeat value for money!
Not to forget, this Ibis is located just across the road from a shopping center with kids center in it!

Liked the area, lots of nearby places to eat and a supermarket. Very good public transport
Room was large and had plenty of space for bicycle & panniers that i arrived with.
Cafe literally next door - great for coffee & snacks (and the odd beer).
Online staff really helpful during check-in process. Ditto the room cleaning staff.

B arakaldo is a bourough of Bilbao. IT is a good place to stay to visit the city. I was very impressed by the city, specially its architecture, both ancient/classic and modern. It definitely is worth a visit, say a week.

The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/...
The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/manager, so some of the facilities were not available (no restaurant as it was being refurbished). The bed was terribly soft, although I managed to sleep OK. It wasn't a difficult trip into the main part of Barakaldo (this was El Regato) either by car or by bus and there were many walkers the following day, following the river into town

Location is beautiful. Quiet village. The receptionist gave us a light snack as there were no restaurants open. Which is a shame as they have a number of restaurants there. There is parking under the hotel and a lift. They accommodated my mum whose disabled/wheelchair bound, with a bedroom close to reception should we need anything. The breakfast is in the restaurant next door, continental was more than adequate and eat and drink as much as you like. The journey to the Port took us 10 mins maybe longer if stuck in traffic.
Very large appartment with two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, very clean; the landlord was very attentive, offering some bottles of wine at the arrival. The appartment has a large parking car easy to acces ( not too tight); The appartment is in Barakaldo, but since we had a car we didn t mind( actulally was easier leave the city feom here). Perfect appartment!!
Rooms are in the center of Barakaldo, very close to metro station and a walking distance from BEC.
Easy check in, microwave and some basic 'breakfast' was a nice addition.
