An enormous room with an equally enormous terrace with view across the river and to the old town with table and chairs. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with hot, cold, savoury and sweet options; a delight. Dinner this year was better than the year before; good produce well cokked. The menu included water and a bottle of wine for 2. Located 2 minutes from a free car park, 5 minutes walk from the escaltors that take you up to the old town and 10 minutes from the train station. The staff are exceptional.

There was a lot more to do in Toledo than we expected. We were worried that 4 nights would be too long but it wasn’t, we were busy every day. The cathedral is stunning, the best building I have ever seen.

If you are interested in history and culture, this is the city for you. Beautifully restored remains from all periods of the city's history. Because of this, however, the historic quarters are always full of tourists during the day, and there is a surfeit of shops selling souvenirs. The streets are cobbled and steep, so be prepared to work hard! We were most interested in the Jewish Quarter and this did not disappoint, with many historic buildings well preserved and accessible. For a popular tourist city it was disappointing that much of the exposition in many of the monuments and historic buildings was only in Spanish. This is, however, a common problem in Spain, despite the fact that the majority of tourist speak English. (We live in Valencia and it's the same here). The tourist map. free from the tourist office, has an English version but the streets are so narrow, with so many small plazas, the, despite the fact that we enlarged it, the map was difficult to use. We would recommend buying a better quality large-scale map.
Food-wise, there are many good restaurants with a wide range of cuisines and all our experiences eating out were good or excellent.

Just an amazing, wonderful city.
Just an amazing, wonderful city. So many fascinating places including the white synagogue, El Greco museum, Cathedral and the general ambiance of the old city. We loved the tourist train that went around the city. It's a short (30 min) train ride from Madrid; book this in advance, they fill up, that's why we had to take the less desirable bus. Very walkable but realize it's all up and down, might be difficult for some people. Definitely stay overnight; tourists go home at night and you have the city to yourself. We ate at more or less randomly chosen little places that were uniformly good.

Tons of history, incredible beautiful cathedral.
Tons of history, incredible beautiful cathedral. Be prepared to walk tons of hills. You’ll like this if you are into historic buildings and history; otherwise you’ll be disappointed with other areas like entertainment and dining venues.

The old city of Toledo looks magnificent from the parador or from across the valley. There is an attractive river walk outside the city wall with historic bridges which lead up to the city. There are many cobbled streets to wander around but we couldn’t find a quiet traffic free square to enjoy a coffee and people watch. For me, the skyline was the most memorable part of my visit.

The old city was interesting to explore with so much of the old walls still intact. You can see the sites in one day.
We caught the fast train from Toledo to Madrid (just over 30 minutes) on the other 2 days of our stay
The Hotel is nice, with friendly and helpful staff, and located within easy walking distance to the old town of Toledo. There is also a nice park area on the way which was great for walking our Dog and having a coffee or beer in one of the little bars there. We had a superior room, which was huge and great value for money, even the Receptionist said what a good deal we had. There is a bar and restaurant just along from the hotel, which is good as there’s no Hotel bar. The Breakfast was very good and great value for money.
This lovely, homey guesthouse is in the old part of town in a neighbourhood of very narrow winding streets. It's best to take a taxi if you don't know the area. Good location, only a few minutes' walk to the cathedral. It's a great little hotel with a lift and pleasant staff. The bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and lots of hot water. There's a gorgeous terrace on the 3rd floor with views over the city and the cathedral--magical at night! Once all the day trippers leave, the old town is blissfully quiet.
The hotel is located at the edge of the old town and is relatively straightforward to access by car. Although the hotel offers paid parking €27 per night), we opted to park in the large free parking lot about 20 minutes walk outside the old town.
The hotel has an attractive interior with a restaurant and bar. There are also several lounge areas to si in.
The hotel was ain a fairly good location for the major sights in Toledo, although everything required a 10-15 minute walk go get there.
The hotel represents excellent value.Nothing was too much trouble. It is unusual to find a five * hotel which takes dogs. We were able to take breakfast in our room, which had amazing views of Toledo’s historic old town.
We inadvertently left a bag at the hotel, and the staff helped us to get it sent to us, as we’re we’re over 300 miles away when we realised we had left it.
Brand new facilities, with extra comfortable beds, stylish decor, and all nowadays technologies. Communication with the host was exceptional. Even you are located in the best spot of Toledo's old town, there is no street noise or etc. Guys - this is a different level, but every one of you has to try booking this place. You will not regret it. Well well recomended!
Very beautiful and authentic hotel. Clean room, warm and with the best view. Its near with centre, and with parking (3 min). Also, the hotel has a shared balcony, and view from the room was on the balcony (there are mirror-window, you are feel private).
Breakfast was minimalistic (toast, ham, cheese, sweet pie and coffee).
I highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is very nice and in a great location. It is close to a public parking garage. The hotel has a bar and the staff are very helpful. We ended up staying at this location an additional 2 nights because our flight was canceled. You can walk to all of the sites in Toledo and do not need to move your car after you park.
This is a sizable and very comfortable apartment. It has everything you need for a great stay in Toledo. The welcome was super friendly. The best thing about the apartment is that it is right in the heart of Toledo's old town. You step out of your front door and are surrounded by the city's main tourist attractions.
Clean and friendly staff, large underground parking and elevator to the room. The pool and area are nice to relax with a view to Toledo old town.
A Taxi to the Cathedral was about 10 Euro. We decided to walk back over the pedestrian roman bridge. That took us 25 min. from the bridge to the hotel.
The service provided by Juan. He was very helpful. The hotel is peaceful and away from the busyness of the center of Toledo. The breakfast was good quality at a good price. The location is beautiful; just be aware that to get to the center (e.g., the cathedral) is a 15-minute steep, uphill walk.
Hospederia Casa de Cisneros was right next to the Cathedral and within a short walking distance to all of the historical landmarks. The staff was amazing and treated us like royalty. The hotel has a rooftop deck that has fantastic views of Toledo.
This hotel lays in a quiet street and 10 minutes walk from the center of Toledo. The room was small but OK for a view nights. Everything was very clean. coffee/thee machine in the hallway. Two different pillows. Bath and shower were ok.
The location and view are very good, looking at the old town Toledo.
The bus stop to the city center is in front of the hotel (Bus come every hour).
10-15 minutes walk down hill to Sans Martin bridge.
Breakfast is standard.
Wonderful location. Kind staffs. Great view from the rooftop terrace I went to see the sunrise, sunset, and the moon lighting the beautiful city. BEST breakfast. I would definitely choose this hotel again when in Toledo.
The parador was on top of the hill. The view was Toledo city. The balcony faced the city like the terrace, the view was amazing. The hotel was like a castle. The room was big and comfortable. It was amazing stay .
Hotel is great if you are visiting Toledo by car since is very difficult to park in the city
Room was large and nice
Very good breakfast buffet with lots of options
Very nice building, pool and gardens
Super clean, modern rooms, great value. We stayed just one night, would have liked to stay longer. Easy parking. A bit of a ride to Old Toledo and restaurants, but can highly recommend this hotel.
