The location was amazing overlooking Granada while being close to the Sierra Nevada park. Breakfast was amazing and would be lovely to visit later during the summer to enjoy the pool with such a great location. Very large, comfortable bed.
The cherry on top were two lovely golden retrievers waiting to be petted and even willing to accompany us for a walk up the hill.

Everything was great - the apartment, atmosphere, space around the house and inside, welcoming owners. Apartment has a lot of place and it was very convenient to work. Internet was great. It also has own equipped with everything necessary kitchen, incl. nice fridge and huge tv. And there is also a kitchen accessible for everyone.
It was easy to park right in front for free.
I would especially highly recommend for groups - a lot of place to spend time together.
To ski in Sierra it takes around 45 minutes to get.

La Zubia can be considered a “dormitory” town for Granada city, located just 15 minutes’ drive away at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the National park. It is a pleasant and clean town with a welcoming atmosphere. El Balcon de las Nieves hotel is a converted family home in the upmarket area of Cumbres Verdes, above La Zubia town. This is a perfect base for exploring numerous villages and the general enchanting countryside within Granada province.

A great place to stay for those traveling in the south of Spain. It is quiet and calm. Very close to the crowded Granada. The view of the mountains is extraordinary. There is no such place anywhere else on Earth.

I loved the fact that you can park right outside the front door of your own private cottage. The property is rustic but spotlessly clean, and the beds are brand new and extremely comfortable. Something I didn't expect, but was grateful for, was the central heating. You are surrounded by nature, which my dog absolutely loves, so we did some good, long walks. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

A great starting point for hikes. The apartment had a small terrace and allowed for breakfast in the sunshine and dinner at sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering and the living room was spacious. We really enjoyed our stay & would have loved to stay longer.SylvieGermany

The communication with the host was super easy, access to the property and other details are clearly explained. Hot water, clean rooms and kitchen, and nice decorations. From the apartment you have easy access to the buses going into Granada's center (a bus every 30 minutes or so). It was very convenient to park our car in front of the building and then go to Granada by bus.

There's also a washing machine, but you have to hang the wash on an expandable rack outside the master bedroom window. Still, the clothes dry pretty quickly on a hot sunny day.
