The location was perfect to get to either end of the Paleokastritsa area. The staff were all very helpful and really bring the place to life. It was lovely to have a pool for days when we didn’t want to get sandy/salty at the beach, plus a large balcony and a fridge in the room made afternoon wine and cards a great way to take in the view. A sea view room is definitely worth the extra money.
Breakfast was consistent and enough options so we weren’t having the same thing everyday. The gyros from the pool snack bar were amazing (and cheap)!
We also really appreciated the courtesy room on the last day where we were able to shower before our 9pm flight.
This small, family run hostel is found within a short walk from the beach. It offers a reception/bar area and a large sun terrace overlooking the bay of Paleokastritsa.

Everything was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. Great location. Beautiful place. But without a doubt the hospitality we received was exceptional. Many thanks to Katherina for her kindness. An excellent hostess. And Yiannis with he’s witty personality.

Absolutely stunning views from our hotel. Not touristy like the other places we visited. We loved our walk up to the monastery. Some wonderful restaurants nearby. The green bus stop is just across the road for a trip into Corfu town. We ate at Limanis for three nights, and Nicos for one. We hired a car for two days from Friendly Car Rentals.

Its a beautiful spot for relaxing, crystal clear water, really peaceful beaches, no heavy drinking boozy culture- obviously you can drink but its so laid back and theres no loud nightlife and boozy brits. We did lots of hiking into the mountains (up the donkey trail into Lakones), swimming, snorkelling and eating amazing and really reasonably priced food in tavernas. We went into Corfu town, which was great but I would have been happy to spend the whole time just in Paleokastritsa because its beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Nikos and Dolphin Tavernas were our favorites for food, Yialos for morning coffees on the beach and Kathys supermarket was very well stocked.

This area of Corfu is gorgeous!
This area of Corfu is gorgeous! The water is clear and beautiful! Visit the Monastery to see some relics from the 1600’s and gorgeous views! The Monastry Cafe has beautiful views and a delicious cocktail menu.
Boats are available to rent.
Snorkeling gear is available for rent from the gift shop near the boat ramp. But unfortunately we didn’t see many fish in early May.

Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village. It’s big parking sides with lots of cars and coaches ,very busy
Lots of abandoned ,rusted cars and boats just left on the sides of the road . Paleocastrica it’s a port
where tourists are coming to rent a boats for a day trip
Beaches are small, not clean , very overcrowded. Sea waters are polluted because each beach it’s a station for lots of boats
There is no decent place to eat .
It’s looking beautiful on pictures, but different when you’re there.
Disappointing

Great views and a couple of nice beaches.
Great views and a couple of nice beaches. The hinterland is beautiful with some good hiking. Town is a bit haphazard and untidy. Totally closes in the off-season. Closest supermarket (good) 2 kilometres, cafe 3 kilometres, restaurant (great) 5 kilometres away

Paleokastritsa is an absolute gem of a destination, and my recent visit left me in awe of its beauty and charm. The natural beauty of Paleokastritsa is truly breathtaking. The clear, turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush, green landscape, creating a postcard-perfect scene. The jagged cliffs and numerous small coves and beaches make it a haven for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and sunseekers alike. One of the standout experiences in Paleokastritsa is visiting the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the monastery offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It's a peaceful and spiritual place that provides a glimpse into the region's history and culture.
Our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. The place is very clean and cozy, and there are parking spaces on the property. The view from the balcony is absolutely spectacular! It is a 5-10 minutes walk uphill from the main street of Paleokastritsa where the restaurants, tavernas and bars are located to the property, but the view is worth it. The location is great as there are many great beaches nearby, but we would still recommend to rent a car. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and we would definitely recommend it.
Traveling to Paleokastritsa regularly, we've enjoyed this place perhaps the most. Very clean and comfortable. Secluded sitting area outside in the shade. Good WiFi. Good reliable shower. Great caring touches from the hosts who were quick and happy to help and provided us with little but very useful things like salt and water.
The location was just perfect for us, between Acapulco and La Grotta where you can both swim and go out. Next to the Green Bus stop to Corfu town and to a good supermarket.
The Odysseus Hotel was amazing! I was booked in a corner suite with an excellent view from my balcony of the ocean, such beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The room, bathroom and bedding was clean and very comfortable. The staff service and breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was close walking distance to sites, beaches and the Green Bus is just across the street to take you to Corfu Town. If I travel again to Corfu, Greece, I would definitely stay at the Odysseus Hotel.
Fotini was wonderful! She has helped us with everything we needed, since the moment we arrived and received the keys to our room. Firstly, the hotel and room are very clean and very comfortable. The view is wonderful! Everything is organized and convenient. Fotini has organized boat trips for us and have supported us in everything we needed even if it was not related to our stay at her place. It was absolutely amazing! Will be coming there every time when landing in Corfu!
Everyone working there was so helpful, and went out of their way to welcome us and give us great recommendations. We visited many places in Corfu, but Paleokastritsa was undoubtedly the most beautiful, and this hotel is very well located, being an easy walk to all the main beaches, the port (for fantastic boat rides to hidden beaches and caves), the monastery, and many restaurants. The pool was also fantastic. 100% recommend :)
The location of the hotel is great - it's right next to the central (and best) beach in Paleokastritsa, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The famous monastery and the hiking trail to Lakones are very close to the hotel as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, bright and had a great balcony.
The breakfast was good, but it wasn't something special by Greek standards.
Exceptional experience. The accommodations are extremely pleasant. The pool and location provide plenty of excuses to get out and experience Corfu and everything I've listed above are made even better by the couple who runs Aphrodite.
Elisabeth is a wealth of knowledge - a beautiful gem of a person, and her and Antonis go above and beyond to provide the best stay possible.
I can't imagine not planning to return
The apartment is located with a beautiful view on the nearest beach (5 minutes walking distance from the hotel). It was really clean and got all the needed stuff. The host- Maria helped us get from and to the airport. She was super nice and reply to every message fast. We really enjoyed our stay. If we ever go back to Corfu we will definitely stay here again.
The owner of the house, Magdalena, was very hospitable and offered her availability at any time if anything was needed. It was very clean and comfortable. The outside environment is pleasant where you can see the sea in front. We thank you very much Magdalena and if we will spend holidays in Corfu you will be our first choice.
The location is perfect - close to everything in Paleokastritsa: taverns, bars, beaches. The room was very comfy, very clean and has a lovely view from the big balcony. Spiros and Helen were great hosts and made us felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. If I come to Corfu again I will stay here for sure! Thank you!
The location is superb, main beach in front of the hotel and 2 small rocky beaches (max 2 minutes walk) on the other side if the main beach is full. Supermarkt, souvenir shops, restaurants and bakery all in one area. Breakfast and dinner included during our stay, really worth it. Friendly and respectful staffs.
Perfect hotel for us, the most beautiful location in Corfu. Located in front of the beach, near charming taverns. A tastefully decorated boutique hotel. The room is comfortable and beautiful. The hotel hostess is nice and helpful. I'm already looking forward to coming back next year.
You have beach, sea view, excellent clean sea and also it is 3m away from where you can start immediately swimming. The owners are very friendly and nice people. You can also swim to other beach from your hotel, which is very cool. I will try to stay there when I am back in Corfu!
Very nice location, close to the Green Line station that takes you to the Corfu town, and a 25 min walk from the center of Paleokadtritsa, a nice scenic walk. There’s a few super markets around it too. The host was super nice, everything went smoothly.
The owner and staff at Corfu valley view were amazing! Super attentive about our needs, generous and made us really feel at home.
Our room was very comfortable, the view was incredibly beautiful and the atmosphere so calm and relaxing.
It has a pretty entryway & is a 2 minute walk to 3 different beaches & to the hill that goes up to the monastery. There is a nice view from the upstairs bedroom & the upstairs bathroom has been nicely renovated.
Lovely quiet location in beautiful garden, very nice owner - always responsive and willing to share information about the interesting places and things in Corfu. Comfy beds and really clean apartment.
Hotel is situated near the main beaches, and near market. It is quiet and clean, air conditioners were working excellent. My next visit to Corfu, will be to this region and to this hotel.
