We liked the breakfasts, although we had to ask for butter, jelly, and cream for coffee. The desk and room staff were friendly and helpful, and most of the dining staff. We especially liked the location near the port, in the heart of St John’s.

Quiet, rural location. No more than a handful of guests at any time. Grocery stores just a few minutes away by bus. Appliances worked well. Tap water was potable and tasty. King size bed was comfortable. Beautiful beaches (Morris and Turner) nearby and reachable with a short walk or bus ride.

On Dickenson Bay, this resort in Saint John’s features an outdoor pool. The Cedar Valley Golf Club is a 10-minute drive from this resort.
