Tampico has grown so much. It has a very nice beach and is pretty. You would not be disappointed. If you like seafood, you would get fresh seafood at almost every restaurant you go. Tampico has nice restaurants and places to shop.

Most of the people is friendly and helpful, the city no really nice with lots of streets getting flooded with sewage in rainy days, most of the taxis old and without a/c so needed in steamy hot days, lots of people not wearing protective mask during pandemic.

I enjoy the beach but the hotels are limited and I do not like the wristbands you have to wear or the rule that if a person comes to visit that they are not allowed in the room....It is a bit strict for people that can afford accomadations and are not children playing in the rooms... Tampico is busy...but never had a bad experience despite the hotels...I wanted a girlfriend to be let in to my room while I finished getting ready and she had to wait outside in the heat.... ridiculousMichelleUnited States of America

The hotel is far enough off the main route thru Tampico, but easy to get back on the road. Good parking right outside your room which made loading and unloading simple. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Not a luxury hotel, but nice enough for us for the night. The whole complex is gated, so very secure. Very pet friendly, which is important to us. They do charge a pet fee, but it was only a few dollars.
