The owners of this Homestay are so lovely and the place is very beautiful. The hosts are so accommodating and genuinely friendly and wonderful people. The WiFi is fiber optic at 300mbs or more so if you are looking for the best WiFi in Bohol, you'll find it here. Remote workers should consider booking this place as it's really hard to find good WiFi on Bohol! The place is Very quiet and a perfect place to unwind. The beach is close by and the reef there is really lovely to snorkel at. If you are looking to enjoy a hidden gem of Bohol, get away from the hoards of tourists, you should stay here. Thank you for the lovely stay!🙏

This hotel was a bit more expensive than where we usually stay, but not having taken a real vacation since before COVID we thought we'd splurge a bit. Thankfully we weren't disappointed, the location, service, and facilities were all first rate and we didn't have anything to complain about for the entire stay. Things we look at reviews for are things like noise (it was very quiet, even when all the rooms were booked), the comfort of the beds (we both have hip issues that are aggravated by beds that are too hard or too soft, but these were perfect), and convenience to town (you can walk to town in half an hour or get a three wheeler for 100 php per-person, the ride just takes about 10 minutes, though you have to plan ahead as they need to call one for you before you can leave).
Blue Raven Resort in Anda provides accommodations with a private beach area, a garden, and a bar. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Anda is still unspoilt by tourism. There are no kiosks selling cuddly toys or kiss me quick hats and to be honest, if that is what you expect from a holiday you should head to one of the popular destinations in the Mediterranean. If you want to see real life in the Philippines then Anda is probably one of the last remaining destinations. The signs of change are starting but it's still there now if you are quick.

TLDR: If you have food allergies, your food choices will be severely limited. Beach cleanliness needs work. Other points of interest will have trash laden everywhere as well.
Vegans will have a tough time in this area since access to this type of food is limited. Your main dish would likely be vegetarian pancit bihon/pancit canton.
Vegetarians will fair better.
The beach sand and view of the ocean is very nice, but trash is laden everywhere on the beach and needs more effort by the locals to keep the place clean. The trash mainly comes from the ocean where debris will wash ashore, but there are places where trash is left by local inhabitants. There are also no public restrooms on this beach or public trash cans maintained by the local government. Expect to carry your trash with you, if you are the environmentally conscious-type. You will also find significant ocean life on the beaches, so be very careful not to contaminate the environment with human-made products.
Other points of interest will have trash scattered everywhere, but this is common in the Philippines. However, you will find less here than the average.

If the goal is mainly to relax , Casa Amihan is an excellent choice, with wonderful staff, always willing to accommodate your requests.
It is quite in the middle of nowhere (2hrs drive from the airport) but it is still possible to organize some activities if you don't mind spending some time on commuting (we went swimming with the shark whales in Lila area).
I'll definitely recommend this place!

Anda is a beautiful area but you'll have to drive quite a ways from the airport in Panglao. Don't expect hordes of tourists but also don't expect a lot of facilities or restaurants either. The roads to get into some of the resorts are atrocious.

Anda is a beautiful place.
Anda is a beautiful place. However, one has to do their research on the their accommodation, location and other things that can affect their experience while in Anda. We dodged the bullet when we didnt choose the other resort.
You really need to actually READ the review of the accommodation you are eyeing for with a degree of reasonability, re: price commensurate to the location, quality, facility of the resort.
The hotel area is very beautiful and well-groomed, I liked the presence of a swimming pool. There is a good cafe with breakfast and a main menu, a bar, the prices are very pleasing. On Fridays in the cafe there are evenings with live music, this is a real cool concert, an excellent hotel bonus for guests. Overall one of the best places we've been! We thank the owner for such an attitude towards his business!
I liked the friendly staff, the pool, the location was nice proximity to town and not far from the beaches. Rooms are reasonably quiet considering they're native houses. Better value than elsewhere although the towns hotels are a bit pricey compared to Panglao but it's much more beautiful here in Anda
my group never found their booking in the hotel, i found out that they overcharged us, there was no electricity on our last day of our stay and worst they always need to close down the water so we had a hard time taking a shower or using the toilet, we also found small cockroaches in the comfort room.
Seems a bit run-down, but was made up for by the pleasant owners and the family style meals. And the excellent location. Price seems slightly high for what you get, specially for the standard rooms in the back. They seem a bit cramped and lack maintenance. The bungalows however are better located.
Fantastic staff. Welcoming and also respectful of privacy. The food was stellar. First time I didn’t mind eating at a hotel all the time. The beach was pristine and the dive centre folks were so helpful. Loved the slow pace of life. Definitely a place I’d come back with friends and other family.
This property is beautiful, the rooms were lovely and the scenery was so relaxing. The sea was stunning and the snorkelling trip we did through the hotel was the best coral reefs I have ever seen. We also saw multiple turtles. The staff are so friendly and made us feel really welcomed.
It is one of the best hotels I have stayed! The atmosphere is amazing and the facilities. The food at the restaurant it is good and in reasonable prices. The rooms are spacious and very beautiful inside and the pool in front of the hotel great as well!
The staff is so nice!
Location was beautiful, overlooking gorgeous sandy beach and close to center of anda
Food is amazing and fresh. Great flavour and affordable
Owners are super friendly and so helpful to all of us.
10/10 recommend
A paradise on its own. if you love quite place, rustic ambience, great very affordable food and access to your own private beach, swim with a school of fish - this is the place!
The position not so much faraway from the centre of the city (bike required).the privacy.the staff very friendly.hot water in the shower (not so easy to find in Anda hotels)
Clean, modern, good wifi, awesome friendly staff, good food, short walk to a quiet white sand beach or cave pool. It is a super cute place to chill in between adventures.
The hotel is build in very nice, jungle vibe style. There was a great big bed, nice surroundings with the pool and restaurant with great, homemade food.
