After reaching Silchar, I was shocked to see the pathetic urban infrastructure of the town which was further deteriorated due to muddy streets, open drains, broken and potholed roads, flooded roads with drain water. Overall, anything that turns living in a town into hell. Silchar is the dirtiest town of Northeast and the third dirtiest town of India as per an old article of 2019, link shared below. I believe, the ranking still stands valid. https://nenow.in/north-east-news/assam/silchar-ranked-as-the-dirtiest-city-of-northeast.htmlGuest review byKallalGermany - 8.0

This was a very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. A bit isolated but ready access to central gate entrance to park. Dining space needs to be revamped in line with rest of accommodation. However, provides a great stopover to visit Kaziranga NP and view the one horned rhinos up closeGuest review byMartinAustralia - 8.0

Guwahati is gateway to N.E India. It is developing fast. It can be considered a metro city. There are many spots for sightseeing in and around specially Brahmaputra river cruise in the evening also one cannot sum up Guwahati without mentioning Kamakhya temple. Very holistic place with positive vibes.Guest review byDebbarma - 10.0

Jorhat is an attractive town, fast changing and developing but still retains elements of its history and heritage. Fine buildings in the traditional style are still to be found, Gymkhana Club, Chameli Memsahab's Bungalow, Circuit House and many other smaller buildings still exist in the backstreets. Tea Gardens should be visited whenever possibleGuest review bykakoliIndia
