I booked this hotel as we were coming down for a dog sport competition and it was close to the highway for easy access to Southey. The reviews recently had me scared, buuuuut it was great!
1. The front desk girl named Marilla was the sweetest, she checked us in quickly, got some love from my two dogs, she was pleasant anytime I saw her!
2. The breakfast honestly was pretty good. Eggs, pancakes in a minute, sausage and you could take muffins or fruit with you (which I did 😁) for snacks.
3. The room they gave us was a business king pet friendly so we had a lot of space, a big bed and a couch the pups adored it! Sure it's an older hotel but everything in our room was clean so no complains. Lots of pillows is a bonus!
4. Location was decent, close to the highway to get where I needed to go, but there was quite a lot around the area in regards to food and stores.
5. They had security wandri around so felt safe, it was pretty quiet for the most part most people were quite understanding about not trying to be too crazy loud.

Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament.
Definitely Regina was adequate for our hockey tournament. We found it easy to get around with plenty of places to dine and shop if you wanted. The central sports facilities are super - something to wish your city had. The only problem - ice plant seemed undersized and did not freeze floods.

Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows.
Regina like most large cities has its highs and lows. Some lovely areas some quite run down. Our family took in the Regina Science Centre. Can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed it. Especially the IMAX documentary. The facility was clean, fun for the entire family and lots of space to roam without feeling overwhelmed by other people. The IMAX film we choose was Wings Over Water. Gorgeous cinematography that the kids truly enjoyed and even my son, daughter and I learned about the wetland birds of the prairies. A great day was had by all. We stayed approx. 3.5 hours.

There's a lot of worthy places to visit in Regina, 3days is not enough. If you're planning to go to Regina, you must visit the Saskatchewan Parliament Building, they have a free tour every 30minutes from 9am to 3pm. And try to meet Scotty, the world's largest T-Rex in Royal Saskatchewan Museum, admission is free, if you're generous they're accepting donations starting at 5cad.

Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P.
Lots to see and do: R.C.M.P. Museum, Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Natural History etc. It is easy to get around due to the city's small size, good signage as well as good lighting. I prefer Wascana Park where there are lots of birds and beautiful trees. It is a great place to have a picnic and enjoy the sunset which is beautiful!
Everything about this hotel is top notch. We were quickly checked in upon arrival by a professional and friendly Gloria at the front desk. Our rooms and the entire property were spotless and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The restaurant/lounge in the lobby was a favourite hangout with excellent menu choices and a great bartender who made us amazing “surprise us” drinks. Will definitely stay here every time I return to Regina!
I am extremely thankful to "Eubin", who was of great assistance to me throughout the stay at Home Inn.He guided me around the things I was unfamiliar about Regina Town and patiently answered by questions. As a newcomer to Canada his inputs were very useful. He is a very friendly guy who made our stay more pleasant. I hope people who will stay here in the future benefit from his hospitality.
Beautiful spacious room with 2 really comfy beds and bedding, each with 4 pillows - WOW. Good size fridge and microwave. Hotel spotless, clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet alone was probably worth the price of our room. We are returning from our trip through Regina again and will definitely rebook this hote. Exceptional
This is an Older Hotel in the heart of Regina. Facility appears to be well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a real bonus that they have EV charging facilities, as we started the next day with a "Full Tank" in our Kona Electric. Restaurant is decent with very good prices. We would definitely stay here again
Excellent location if you don't mind highway noise. I believe we were staying in the quieter part of the hotel, and I don't mind noise from the Trans Canada Highway.
The breakfast was excellent. Far better than the other hotels that we stayed at.
The bed was comfortable, the room clean and I used the fitness facility.
Everything was perfect. Bed was super comfy and room was very clean. I definitely recommend it plus it's not far from the airport. I had to catch a very early flight but the guy gave me a breakfast to go. If I go back to Regina, this is where I'll stay to catch a flight.
Best hotel I have ever stayed. The room was more like something you would find in a Hilton. Staff was awesome and food was great. I would definitely stay here again and possibly in the near future. The city of Regina was beautiful, clean, and safe. Price was awesome!
Hot breakfast @7:00 was so good & included gluten free options. Great coffee too. Staff was friendly & helpful when we needed a cart. Convenient location in the east end of Regina that was easy to get to.
This a cheap, no frills hotel, and clean and comfortable. If this is a stopover and you’re not visiting Regina, and just need a place to sleep the night, this is the place for you; clean, cheap, comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay. I am impressed with both the Royal Hotel in Calgary & Regina. Wyndham has made overnight stays comfortable. thanks. i recommend this hotel while in Regina.
