Truth is I've lived here all my life.
Truth is I've lived here all my life. You have done an awesome job in restoring these apartments a solid 10 / 10 in my book. What a transformation from the old days. As for Blenheim it's self it's a nice place but a few too many grapes and pine trees along with rest homes lolGuest review byAndrewsNew Zealand - 10.0

Stunning views down the harbour and plenty of eateries and accommodation options. We ate at Cortado twice as we could take our Labrador inside & they had a fab dog menu! A beautiful drive across to Anakiwa. We’ll definately stay longer next time.Guest review byPatriciaNew Zealand - 10.0

We enjoyed the interesting and free to enter Havelock museum. The public toilets are clean and well looked after and there are a number of local cafes all within walking distance. It is an easy walk to the mail boat departure jetty.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

My stay was cut short due to Covid =lockdown, however the 2 nights i spent here was great, would recommend this hotel to others. Very clean spacious and well located for vineyards. Opposite a café and shop area. 10 minutes drive to Blenheim or 7 to Renwick. Friendly locals and welcoming to solo travellers.Guest review byDeborahNew Zealand - 10.0

Ward is a peaceful destination after a trip from Christchurch, on the main highway to Nelson and I only heard a few heavy trucks pass despite being in motel nearest to the highway. Fortunately I had tea food with me as I arrived after the local food seller had closed after 5pm.Guest review byLynetteNew Zealand - 10.0

I loved the remoteness of where we stayed, yet the sense of being safe and looked after by the locals. The views and natural environment are sublime. The only permitted way to get here is currently by boat as the road has been damaged by a storm and is only allowed to be used by residents' and service vehicles. This makes it very safe to walk up the road to tracks into the wonderlands the area has to offer. The walks vary from fairly easy to somewhat taxing. Some of the tracks have a challenging gradient if you are not used to walking, and would be more difficult if they are wet. Having said that, we are 'senior citizens' with average fitness and we managed to summit the Onahau lookout (416 meters / 1368 feet) above sea level) and return in one piece.Guest review byTomNew Zealand - 10.0
We felt welcomed everywhere we went.
We felt welcomed everywhere we went. From accommodation at Carnmore Chateau to the cafes to the Peter Jackson aviation museum. We had a great time. The museums are a must see to get an appreciation of what it would have been to serve in either of the World wars.Guest review byDonNew Zealand - 10.0

Picton is a lovely place to spend a few days.. or explore further. Irish pub up the road was good for a drink. Mostly did our own cooking but nice cafes around the corner for lunch. Handy bus stop across the road. Went to Blenheim for a day ( check the timetable.. doesn’t go every day) Walked to Waikawa Bay and back. Edwin Fox museum worth going to as was the Mail Run cruise. We stayed for 3 nights… arriving from Wellington by ferry… and leaving by bus for Christchurch.Guest review byDianeNew Zealand - 10.0
Havelock is a delightful place.
Havelock is a delightful place. In the distant past I had only stopped whilst driving through, but as a relaxing place to stay it exceeded my expectations. The marina is lovely, people seem friendly, pub food is great, and there is some interesting history. I would definitely go again.Guest review byCatherineThailand - 8.0

Great place to spend a couple of nights amongst the vines tasting wines & experiencing the golden mile produce. The hydroponic strawberries are to dye for. Fabulous daytime food at the wineries (limited evening dinning) Handy to downtown Blenheim, highly recommend staying.Guest review byMichelleNew Zealand
