Everything was in an excellent state. New, modern, sustainable! Perfect location for a week on Las Palmas close to the beach, restaurants and public transport. Really lovely staff. Really quiet hotel. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh products of excellent quality.

Great food and lots of choices, excellent staff that always has a smile and is proactive. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Great rain shower. All facilities are well maintained. Views of the dunes are stunning and were our go to place several times during the trip.

The hotel is really elegant and charming, the staff is very welcoming, polite and nice. Breakfast is of high quality and with lots of delicious options. The service is exquisite. The deluxe room is spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the Ciudad Jardín. The spa is well equipped, quiet and relaxing. The air conditioning and fan properly working. One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. Masanet nails it — warm, thoughtful service, insanely comfortable rooms (I legit didn’t want to leave mine), and a breakfast that’s actually worth waking up for. But the real gem? Gabby, the manager. She was absolutely perfect — kind, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. This place has heart. I’ll be back.

    In July the water temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius.

    In July the water temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius. The sand was soft with traces of black in it. The best part was that we had no algee in th water like we had in Tenerife for example. That water was really clean and some waves (~1m) were also present from time to time. There was no shade except for some trees. Also, the foot showers worked well. We did not like the over 100 stairs we had to climb :)

    Lacy’s apartment made Maspalomas very good for us, otherwise it’s too busy and fabricated. It’s for mass Turism but attractive places though. The sunset and a good walk in dunes far from the mirador 🤩 The high quality of the massages at Hannam and wellness and again the high standard of Lacy’s apartment and the high standard of their service. .Must go to eat fish at the fishermen’s cooperative in Arguineguín .Visit puerto Mogán And Fataga not too far and easy drive up in the mountain

    I first visited Puerto Rico when I was 19 ....

    I first visited Puerto Rico when I was 19 ....I am now 61 and have been a regular visitor throughout. In fact I lived there for 12 years and owned an apartment for 15 years. Possibly my opinion is biased, but having visited all the other Canarian islands, I would say that the area between Melanores and Mogan offers most things to most people, and as Puerto Rico is the centre of that area, its quite simply a great place to base your holiday - I for one will always return !

    Lovely quiet area, not very commercial which was perfect. Lovely promenade walk along the sea front. Not many English which was fine. Had a couple of great nights out and explored a bit of the island. Enjoyed El Capitan on the beach… great staff, decent prices and tasty food. Great Italian in the commercial centre…and a night out in the The Rose bar. The staff were great, really friendly, sea view location, decent prices, singer was terrible but later on found out he is the owner🤣🤣

    This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town.

    This is a quiet, relaxing and friendly town. There is a wide variety of restauants with friendly staff and also a very good array of shops. The town features dining on the beachfront and in the harbour area. There are lots of couples and young families. It is not rowdy or noisy. There is a fabulous viewing point above the town and a very well connected public bus system. It is an hour from the airport and costs just under 7 euro one way. The bus stops are clearly marked on arrival in Las Palmas airport and the small bus station is just five minutes walk from the beach in Peurto de Mogan.

    we went in may, june would maybe be better?, Maspolomas is a 15 minute walk away and very much more alive, great here if your a golfer.We went to the Yumbo centre most evenings, cheap via taxi and the taxi rank is right outside the villa, First visit to Melonaras and not my last i hope..

    Great area lots of places to eat, Yumbo centre for people watching & a drink. Everywhere was very clean & everyone welcoming. We went also to Puerto Mogan, lovely village worth the trip, and up into the mountains from Madpolomas to Tejeda very narrow roads.... also recommend the Aquarium at Las Palmas, great day out

    This was a great location for our holiday in January.

    This was a great location for our holiday in January. Agaete is not a tourist area but has access to walks from the apartment. Driving into the mountains to see tourist attractions and find other walking routes did take sometime due to the winding mountain roads. Great selection of restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance in the harbour area and a short drive to Sardina Nord for a lovely beach.
