Quiet place, still not overcrowded even in July and August, good Krka store, possibility to go to Crikvenica by boat, good market place with fresh fruits and vegetables, comfortable beach with changing rooms. Very nice quiet small city on the island Krk, just couple of minutes drive from sv. Marak Beach or Vrbnik city. But also you can find everything in this small town...great restaurants (I would recommend bistro Macao), regarding beaches, sandy beach right in the city, with just a few minutes walk you can enter also lots of other beaches...and the water, the water was crystal clear.Guest review byMartinSlovakia - 10.0

A beautiful peaceful little village on the sea, with apartment houses, no hotels and few good places to eat. Beaches in Šilo are stunning with crystal clear turquoise water. Cosy beach closely to the house ( 100m) or 300m , if you choose easy walk. Market or City of Silo ( port, restaurants, urban beach) - 5 min. walk. Mobile house that we had was very big, with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms plus living space with kitchen area. We spent most of the time outside on the terrace. Great view from the balcony. It's right above a restaurant terrace, but that does not bother me. (Closed at 23:00.) - Kind and nice owner.
