Very beautiful hotel. The location was good and safety enough. To main historical location 20 min by foot. Thank you, staff, for upgrading the room.. it was very, very beautiful. You can dinner in the hotel. Buffet was OK.

    Liked the beach and food. Don't like the fact that there is no English in that country. Communication is extremely difficult... It's close to impossible and mostly locals take advantage to mistreat of rob by over hanging prices.

    There was unrest so not great to move around at night (or day in some parts). Where I was staying it felt very safe and the area is nice. Further out towards the airport it is not great... But there is a lovely energy to the place and looking forward to my next trip back.

    Wonderful city...especially the sea-side though hot and humid temperatures can be uncomfortable. Love cycling early morning on Saturdays to Marracuene and back with less traffic congestion.Brisk walking along beach.Superb restuarant at Costa da Sol.

    The beach in Maputo is a little dirty water and not for activities. If one wants the beach activities the place is Bilene. Rather book an accommodation there although it takes 3 hours from Maputo because of speed limit that goes as low as 40km/h and mostly 60km/h.

    If you're driving a South African registration vehicle you must bare in mind that u will be stopped everywhere there's police wanting cold drink hence all your documents are in order. You need to be nice to them

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back...

    It is a great city, but it will take me a while to come back here. Nothing struck me as welcoming or as a real taste of Mozambique. The beach doesn't seem maintained or safe. Only 2 things I loved, the Radisson Blu Hotel and the South Beach Restaurant & Bar, those were my highlights. I found the country pricey as well.

    Location, location, location! I forgot a package in my flight and had to head back to the airport for it and it was a less than 10 min drive. The hotel is strategically located in the heart of the city. The staff is the most friendly and professional. I also enjoyed the steam room, but would have hoped that the gym was open (not a big deal though). The hotel is also a cab/ Tuktuk away from the seashore, Baia Mall, and most restaurants (Mundos, Zambi, South Beach etc) If I find myself back in Maputo, best believe I will be staying here!

    Great location, lovely staff, the hotel also had most of what you could want from a hotel in Maputo (onsite restaurant, bar, gym) and the rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Maputo that doesn't break the bank like Southern Sun, but is a bit nicer than some of the other hotels, you should stay here

    When I exchanged SouthAfrica Rand at airport, I gave her R3000 but I only got R2000. I told this event to Hotel manager, he was very helpful for me. Finally he went to the exchange company to get R1000 back. He is a very reliable man. The security is better than the city center. Many restaurant and supermarket is close to the hotel.

    We stayed right on the beach, with beautiful views of the ocean and Maputo. Peaceful atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, maybe a bit pricey. Beautiful pool. Lovely beach walks. Lovely outside showers. Reliable taxi services used by hotel.
