The room was really comfortable. It was thoughtfully decorated and it was easy to feel at home here. The bread, cheese, and coffee provided in the breakfast room was also nice. I had a pleasant stay and would happily return.

Staff were exceptional throughout the visit. Lovely rooms. Great food and big wine selection of local wines to match the local food. Very clean. Nice faithful restoration of the chateau.

Hotel staff were welcoming and wonderful! Dinner at the hotel restaurant (reserve in advance) was marvelous in all respects - food, wine, staff -not to be missed!

Croix Blanche is a gem! Recently renovated, a delightful room, quiet, peaceful, spacious,spotless, nice view of surrounding gardens. Friendly and helpful reception. Especially nice staff. A very pleasant breakfast and excellent dinner. Easily accommodated our vegetarian and gluten free diet. Not inexpensive- but not much is in Switzerland. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Hotel de la Gare is on the Broye Canal, less than 1700 ft from Lake Murten. It offers bright rooms with balconies and satellite TV in a tranquil location.
