I think it is the nicest bay and the best beach in Leros and one of the best in the Dodecanese. However, here are some things to know: the beach is very long and very narrow, it has small pebbles and no sand; families with children must also know that, like in many places along the Aegean, the water becomes deep after a few steps. Panteli is very familiar to us. Have visited for past 28 years. As a destination it is rapidly changing into a much more commercial resort but currently still retains its “fishing village” charm. Lakkion is an impressive art deco town built by the Italians round ‘20s-‘30s when the island was under their occupation. Beautiful buildings that cannot be found in another European city. House was very clean, comfortable and has spacious rooms. The view from huge terrace is magnificent. A car would be helpful to access but not necessary. Pretty beaches.
Pretty beaches. There are spots where there are minimum spending limit for sunbeds and otherwise you can put your towel were you want to (preferably shadowy) and enjoy the beach & the sea. Vromolithos is very beautiful and the sea is clean. The people are very helpful and will go out if their way to help in anyway that they can. The easiest way to get around is by car or scooter as it is very hilly and in the heat of the summer walking is difficult.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Alinda is, like the rest of Leros, not very interesting for travellers. The beaches are of mediocre quality at best and walking/hiking/taking a stroll is more often than not a hazardous operation, due to the narrow streets and roads without a trace of sidewalks.
