The hotel was in a weird neighborhood, but once inside, the atmosphere felt cozy and warm. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and soft. It was a chilly night, so I asked for an extra duvet, which was delivered quickly. I appreciated that. The shower experience was the most disappointing. The water never got hot, which was not ideal since the weather was so cool. I let it run for at least 10 minutes, but it never got hot. There was a bit of noise in the neighborhood, but it was too bad. I was able to sleep peacefully. I loved the tea bags and the kettle in the room. This helped me to warm up after the cold shower and have a good night's rest. I checked out early before breakfast because I had an early morning flight.

    Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.

    I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far.

    I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making...

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making it difficult to walk anywhere. When we did walk we were targeted by pickpockets. Luckily we were on to them and avoided any losses. Having been to Addis Ababa before I know there are a lot of great things to see in the city, this was a short business trip. You will need to have reliable transportation in order to get around the city. For longer stays, find a reliable driver to hire for the week.
