Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy...
Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy Esztergom in Hungary and it is very plain in comparison. Being in Slovakia it is a cheaper place to stay or to shop. The centre of the town is very quiet in the evenings with just some dimly lit bars and few places serving food. This part of Slovakia is very run down with many buildings abandoned and in advanced decay. It was extremely comfortable with good wifi and facilities. The room itself, the bathroom, and the shared lounge and kitchen were extremely clean. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.
