Valencia is a vibrant, practical city with a mix of modern and old architecture and many attractions: Oceanographic Park, Science Museum, Silk Museum etc. which is exactly why we visited, we didn't go to the beach. However it's streets don't have the level of of character that other Spanish towns and cities have and although I had heard of it's many menu del dia bars, we must have been looking in the wrong places. We were not disappointed, we will visit Valencia again.Guest review byPhilip WheeldonSpain - 10.0

I had such an amazing time staying here in Spain with my parents! The apartment was perfect—super clean, comfortable, and cozy. The room was spacious, and I loved how everything was so well thought out. The hosts were so kind and welcoming, making us feel like we were part of their family. They even made sure we had everything we needed, from fresh bed sheets to little touches that made the stay even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our time here. I’m so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to come back! Thank you to our wonderful hosts for making our stay unforgettable!Guest review byAlexey DanUnited States - 8.0

Cullera was peaceful enough at the end of May during the week but got busy at the weekend. There was a great atmosphere there and the beach was fabulous. Im not a beach person so having an apartment close to the beach was perfect as I could spend as long as I wanted and leave when I wanted, without carrying loads for a day on the beach. There is a lovely bar at the entrance to the apartment and a restaurant. We didnt eat in the restaurant as it was not open until the weekend, but it looked lovely. We ate in Restaurante Turquessa Beach https://g.co/kgs/AEF4K9Z which was lovely. There were lots of great restaurants, some were closed early in the week at the end of May but I suspect they would be open in peak season. Temperatures were in the high 20's which was perfect for us. Lovely walks around Cullera and along the beach. Great walk to the Castle. Everything in the Castle is in Spanish so we were a bit lost on our tour. It was inexpensive 3Euro each approx. The church wasnt open when we went there which was a pity. Tourist Information advised that the castle was open every day but didnt mention the church opening times. It takes about an hour by train to Valencia and a 10 journey SUMA pass was about 12 Euro. Definitely worth getting. A return trip was about 15 Euro so it was better value for money and could be used on busses and trains. Valencia is also worth a visit. It is a beautiful city.Guest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Ibis will be the great hotel if it do not have couple of problems. The problem with the location is easy to solve with good working metro. Another problem is more serious. It is the continental breakfast. This option proposed on the hotel's web site only for $7 per person per day. If you decide to purchase it in the hotel after the arrival, it will be cost $11 daily for you. All another required services are regular in the hotel.Guest review byPei - 6.0

I didn’t go around too far as the hotel area is quite away from main attractions. The area looks very much like an industrial state with many big businesses around. Probably the hotel would be handy for business travel with contacts nearby. For holidays and proper Valencia life, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel or area.Guest review byLidiaUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Oliva feels like a typical Spanish beach town.
Oliva feels like a typical Spanish beach town. Not too touristy and without the high-rise tower blocks of other areas. In Feb, the beach is quiet, perfect for peaceful walks. The old town has some picturesque spots, but the modern area of town is unremarkable.Guest review byMickiNew Zealand - 10.0

Good beach, wide range of restaurants, large supermarket and retail park. Nice seaside walk through to Canet and beyond. Much more attractive than its status as an industrial town and port. Frequent bus services from the beach to train station in Sagunto, and to Valencia city.Guest review byPaulC23United Kingdom - 6.0

difficult to access of main road. no air conditioning in room since it was turned off in entire building, it's November we were told that is what is done. it was hot in the room (25C+) even with window fully open (not safe for children) we left the window open during the night but it was storming, rain and thunder so had to close it. we asked for a fan which we got, but made no difference. had expected better from Ibis.Guest review byyasminSpain - 10.0

I wished I had stayed longer. It was a lovely location. Could do with more restaurant choices. Needed more time to explore. The weather was a bit too hot for me and one day was 38 degree's. The rest were about 35 degree's, but it was July, so expected.Guest review byMiss - 10.0

The hotel itself is very good and comfortable but, from our experience as first time visitors in Valencia, it may not be the ideal place to stay due to its location. Taxi fare to/from the city center can be expensive. There aren't too many restaurants close by as most of them are at the city center.Guest review byJacintoCanada
