Gabriele is an outstanding host. Clean rooms, stocked with all of the essentials and complete with ‘extras’—such as if needed, a later check out. Hollola is 10/10 beautiful and much more quaint, peaceful, and enjoyable compared to Lahti. Definitely book at HS for walking distance to groceries, beautiful hiking trails, lakes, and a most perfect Finnish experience

We spent one night from Friday to Saturday and I had to checkout early in the morning - earlier than the time when breakfast was served. The receptionist lady was kind enough to promise to leave a breakfast for me in the fridge so that I could have before the official breakfast hours and she did.

Very spacious, great location if arriving by train. Sauna was awesome after a long day. Hosts were very accommodating with our luggage on the check out date.

The key less entrance was nice but late check in was a hassle. 15.00 is kind of late for check-in when you want to leave your luggage somewhere like in my case cycling with lot of luggage.
Breakfast place missing or I could not find any in neighbourhood. Ended up eating chicken burger for breakfast. Not the best start of my day. After two cups of coffee it was manageable. Good distance from Messila (just around the corner especially if you came by car).
Hollola is a sleepy town/village in the middle of nowhere not much to do there and not many choices of restaurants or entertainment. One interesting thing one may want to visit is old church from 16th century or so (drive by car required out of the town). Bike roads are in rather good shape.
