Due to a train delay, I made this reservation quickly from the train. The hotel is unusual in that it is the top floors of an office building downtown. The bedroom/bathroom was very clean and new. The breakfast was a fantastic deal at 12 euro with anything you could want. It is a 15 minute walk from the train. Also, the large bedroom window had a full Rolladen so that you could sleep in!

This place is awesome and I wish we stayed longer than one night. We found this hotel easily and parking was plentiful. Checkin was easy--the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming and we let her know when we'd like to have dinner that evening at their restaurant. Our room was large and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a good size and the shower had good shower pressure and always hot water. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast had lots of variety and was a good start to the day. Checkout was easy, too!

We have arrived in the evening and the first impression was not so great, the only site we have seen was a big factory with huge chimneys. Later, once we checked in and went for a walk, we discovered nice pedestrian area next to the hotel. It was quite and clean. However, now restaurants open in the neighborhood although it was only 9PM.

Wanted to come 3years ago, due to Covid was not possible. I was delighted, that Icould come this year and the city fascinated me. A lot of parks, a lot of room between blocks, wide pedestrians, in the evening music everywhere. Fantastic feeling on the Wine Festival, nice. And friendly people in the city. Very good restaurants, great regional food.

Lots of bars in Innere Klosterstraße. There was beer festival during my visit. It was so crowded (in a good way).
Karl-Marx monument (nischel) is marvelous.
You see different residental buildings compared to west Germany.
3 days are enough to explore the city.

Transport was poor. Trains going to Chemnitz are from Democratic Republic of Germany, i am not joking .. First Class Coach was like Bangladesh trains quality. City is better then expected, but nothing touristic. I eat Chinese food. It was good.

Chemnitz is a city full of students, but there are not many facilities meant for them. There's not much to do - the city is big and the streets are wide, but most of the area is taken by companies.
I enjoyed outdoor swimming pool, the cost was just 2.50e for students and you can stay as long as you want. There's swimming pool, jumping places, volleyball field and even some food available on the spot. In SommerPark on evenings at 8 there are culture events.
Public transport cost 2.20e for a hour, but daily ticket is 4e.

Chemnitz is a little town that is nice for a short day trip or to visit somebody. Keep in mind as an international traveler that you have to have cash on hand as most places don't accept any card not even German cards. In addition: don't go on a Sunday! Everything was closed, even the supermarkets! The walk was nice and quiet, though :) There were mamy options to eat on all days, though. The beers from Reichenbrander Braustübl are definitely recommended and the pizza's from Vegan on the Run were tasty and inexpensive. The industrial museum was a fun visit, especially with the enthousiasm of the employees that walk around!

Within top 5 best hotels and hotel rooms we've ever booked for the price and expectations. It exceeded our expectations by far. From a regular hotel room to an super comfy, tranquil atmosphere and friendly staff, to the a bit expensive car park, everything was as it should.
Super modern bathroom, no issues with mold/damp/fully equipped with everything you'll need from a hotel room's bathroom. HUUUUGE (at least 20cm height) mattress, the comfiest we've ever had.
The lady that checked us in was very professional and friendly. Although we did not purchase a breakfast I could see that the service and food options looked wonderful. The room was very large and we each had our own bed- 3 twin beds. The best thing about the hotel was the location as it is directly off the interstate and very easy to find.
Apartment is located in a nice old quarter of Chemnitz . Very nice and quiet area. Bakery, a supermarket and good restaurants are nearby. The apartment is very clean. There is a well equipped kitchen where you have everything for self catering and the washing machine in the apartment. Definitely will come again.
The staff was very kind and helpful. Quite a lot of choice for breakfast, although I ran out of vegan products. At breakfast, the gentleman always asked if everything was okay and if anything was needed. Quite a large, comfortable bathroom. Very good location of the hotel and free underground parking!
It is a fully furnished apartment with a very good space. Comfortable and presents in amazing conditions. The place is in Kaßberg - a family area in Chemnitz. I recommend for anyone traveling in a family and I believe can accommodate up to 6 people and 2 kids.
We arrived 30 minutes after the hotel restaurant closed, but the staff made a special accommodation to feed us a wonderful meal. Very nice, comfortable, clean, wonderfully furnished and quiet hotel. A must return visit for us.
Biendo is always the best hotel in Chemnitz. Best location, the staff is very helpful and the rooms are very clean and functional. They support us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out during our moving.
Modern hotel on a main route into the city. Good breakfast with many options including hot food. Lift to all floors. Clean and comfy room. Very close to the city centre and a short walk to the main station.
Good level of comfort and room quite large, hotel trying to reduce it's carbon footprint so guest asked to participate. Good continental breakfast, handy location only a few minutes from the motorway
The young lady at the check-in desk was extremely polite and professional. The parking was easy and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and felt safe.
Great 3* hotel very close to city centre (despite there is nothing much to see there :). The hotel is comfy, clean, quite new, breakfast was good, parking free of charge.
